How do i learn excel? I have 2 pdfs downloaded but can't make any sense of it.

I'm going to make a triple boot with Win10, Devuan and OpenBSD
Which version of windows do you recommend ?

Attached: ohg4358pcrp21.png (960x888, 125K)

>triple boot with Win10
>Which version of windows
You just answered your own question.

retard, I meant Normal/Enterprise/Education/LTSC

Education. Presumably the point of having windows in that scenario is full, up to date access to everything. Education gives you that, with settings to turn off anything you don't want.

LTSC, if you don't mind breaking the license terms, Education if you are a student, normal if you want to legally purchase it

why LTSC and not Edu ?

its 124mb I aint downloading that shit you cant fool me

Edu is just enterprise. LTSC has less bloat and only gets the security updates, so it doesn't force more system-breaking updates

>Windows Store/Cortana/Apps etc are permanently removed from LTSC
nevermind user, I'll pick LTSC

Can I turn normal win10 to ltsc version, or does it need a whole different license?

Nah bro, just turn them off. If they're off they don't do shit, other than take a couple insignificant gigs of space. LTSC is out of whack with the update system at large. Better to just turn off what you don't want than have something be missing or broken. Also you don't have to worry about downloading a new ISO every time you upgrade to a new version, which most people are itching to do by the time they finally come out.

okay

no
different license, and just generally a whole world of pain if you try to hack away the shitty parts

how do I add fonts to gimp on win 10?

Where can I get office 2019? I need a reliable source. Thanks

there is only one release every three years or so. I think reinstalling windows every 3 years is quite reasonable. And even if you don't want the new version, it will be supported for a long time

What's the best value/cheapest Fibre Channel Controller? What's the best one? It's hard to find a lot of info or reviews on this.
I bet something like the EMULEX LPE12002 isn't that great, but is it good enough if I just want to mess around with an R715/R815 and some Opterons I had lying around that I want to test some things with (and a Seagate Cheetah 15K Fibre Channel Drive?)

Different ISO and license. You can chop shit out of any version of windows, but the thing that really defines it is its 5 years of security only updates, which is kind of a double edged sword, since the vast majority of windows 10 users are on the latest Feature Upgrade within 2 years of release, software vendors expect it. As far as most developers are concerned, LTSC pretty much only exists within a small pirating community.

Is using Google pay/Apple pay safer than using my credit card?

Attached: 1553734463733.jpg (960x1280, 471K)

It depends where you are buying.

what do you want to use it for?

Op here, what about the QLOGIC QLE2564-CK?
Also, what's the difference between DELL and QLOGIC models that have the exact same number?

>not using crypto only or paying half-normie friends in crypto to buy things for you

Categorizing data, structuring data, the aforementioned + operating a database i created.
For my cv basically.

Booking rooms at hotel, and paying for food expenses.

What is he "Ree"ing about?

Is there any good reason at all to dual boot Win7 and Win10?

Can anyone reccs me a router that isn't shit. Also a standalone docsis modem if possible? I'm trying to get off ISP-provided chinkshit.

Attached: hub30.png (472x164, 14K)

>operating a database
pic related

>Categorizing data, structuring data, the aforementioned
just start putting the numbers in. Then when you want to do something extra, you will learn how to use each feature when you need it.

Attached: goncerned.jpg (246x205, 10K)

I don't know enough about the technical details on apple pay and google pay, but I think they might be more secure if you go to a third world country without chip+pin where credit card theft is common like in the USA

>you will learn how to use each feature when you need it.
Yeah thats why im asking whats a good exercise+ learning material i can use?
I don't want to look like a liar or a piece of autistic shit and a laughing stock infront of people.
Im already anxious enough about the other stuff i lied about.

My poorfag friend wants to upgrade his intel laptops gpu, is this possible and how?
It can play DaS3 at the lowest settings and only occasionally gets kicked out for low fps

there is a small blue dot on my monitor. Is this a dead pixel?

How do I "restart" a program in C#
Like if I do a console app that gives the user a choice of 3 things at the start and depending on what they choose they can't choose it again until they've chosen the other two things. Do I keep everything inside a for loop until they press a certain button or what's the "best" thing to do? Looking up things people say that you COULD use goto but that it's bad practice.

OP again, is the QOE2562 (an Open Compute Project model) a good idea?
I've heard good things about it and the QLE2562 seems to have decent specs for not a huge price.

>My poorfag friend wants to upgrade his intel laptops gpu, is this possible and how?
No, they are all soldered on the motherboard or on the CPU die. But if his laptop has a thunderbolt 3 port (which I doubt), he can use an external GPU.

Try wiping your screen. If the blue dot doesn't move no matter what image is displayed, it could be. Take a picture of your screen.

it only shows up on black backgrounds . I think it may actually be a stuck pixel .

What does your code even look like? A loop sounds appropriate.

This can happen. Turn off your screen and let it cool down. If it is still there after several days, it could be dead.

Will upgrading from Windows 7 ultimate to windows 10 LS enterprise keep all my programs, applications, configurations, regedit configs, folder settings and all other stuff?

The basic outline is a dog owner with a list of dogs. At the start of the program you get to choose between

1. Play with dog X
2. Feed dog X
3. List all dogs

If you feed a dog bad food they become angry and won't play until you feed them good food

No. It may keep some stuff like your files, but most of the rest will be wiped.

I got it, not sure how to upload it though

Or would I be better off with a converged network adapter (CNA) than a host bus adapter (HBA) for more functionality to create a storage area network (SAN)?
Are there any good ones you can recommend?
I'm pretty new to all this.

This sounds like homework. Use loops. Your teacher probably doesn't want you to use goto.

Hey man, would you kindly create a new google account and upload it to the google drive and share it? Please, thanks.

Will this Windows Education here get regular monthly updates or only the first 3 ones?

>I think they might be more secure if you go to a third world country
This is exactly what I'm going to do, I use cash mostly, and never even got a credit card, and I never went to a bank.
Next month I'll be traveling to india for work related stuff, so I thought getting a travel/dept credit card is better option then carrying cash around.

damn :(

Does installing an OS on a HDD with 64KB block size vs default 4KB block size (ie allocation unit size) have any effect on performance?

My understanding of your average 5400 RPM spinning rust is you get a meager ~50 IOPS whether you have 4KB or 64KB block sizes. The only difference is with 64KB block sizes you get ~16X higher bandwidth (3.2MB/s vs 0.2MB/s).

>about to say mixtape.moe but they're down
I think catbox.moe allows .zip files though, right?
maybe mediafire?
fuck (((google)))
also, don't say 'kindly' it makes you sound like a 3rd-world street shitter

Yeah it gets the regulars.

>not having a 1 tb velociraptor you got for 40$ off of offerup

Sorry mate, I just wanted to be polite. If you can't upload, do you have any idea where you got the office?

I would recommend pulling cash daily from a reputable looking ATM (like in a bank). Don't take out too much, but also take enough that you don't need to use your card for anything else. G pay and Apple pay are most likely poorly supported (at least not as commonly as Visa or master card). Keep in mind that these countries are still very cash-centered.

I've got like 150kb upload speeds, the folder is 3.11gb

you could use anonfiles, depending on your file size, or even Mega

Shit man, forget it then. Thanks for answering tho.

for images on processing block sizes, the larger the block size the larger the memory usage and generally increases speed.

yeah, anonfiles, I forgot that one! Thanks for reminding me; I really ought to make a list of these things
I'm not the one with the file; I was just suggesting where to upload.
Mediafire might be a good option too, and obviously Mega. Lots of better places than Google these days.

Yeah, thanks for the suggestions. I think I might go with libreoffice for now. It can't be that bad, right?

I can try upload it, but I'll try compressing first.

How do I get Jow Forums X to autoupdate in violentmonkey?

What's the best way to upgrade or change an OS and keep all or most of my original files and configuration?

does anyone of you Jow Forumsuys have programming projects chart version 4.0?

Anyone else had this problem? When I visit red boards/Jow Forums I get pages like this and can't browse.

blueboards/4channel is fine tho.

Back up your shit and reinstall everything. If you are upgrading windows you probably want to reinstall anyway. There is no way to cleanly upgrade windows.

Whatever you think is best. Thanks for trying.

just torrent this

Torrenting will expose ip addresses.

no

>upgrading
>laptop gpu
>is this possible and how
if you have to ask... forget about it

are you not confusing upgrade with fresh install now?
you can upgrade from fucking DOS to win7 and still run some DOS shit

torrent you shitters

depends on the OS

use a VPN then, faggot

I've been torrenting all sorts of stuff for 15 years and nothing's ever happened to me

>are you not confusing upgrade with fresh install now?
>you can upgrade from fucking DOS to win7 and still run some DOS shit
In theory you could, but I would never trust Windows to not fuck shit up. Also I believe you can only upgrade once. Next time you would need to reinstall anyway.

>in theory you could
>Also I believe you can only upgrade once.
go educate yourself please.

If I set my phone to use Googles DNS and then connect to WiFi where the router is set to use OpenDNS which DNS service will I use? Doesn't the router have the final say?

are vpns worth it? im a ukfag, what would i need one for or should i not really care

The reverse. Google.

so can you upgrade from win 7 to 10 and keep everything? I have so many programs and applications with regedit configured.

gist.github.com/joepie91/5a9909939e6ce7d09e29

So it's down to the device? They can bypass the routers settings?

im an idiot and forgot to post pic

looking at porn without a loicence soon, mate

If you set a DNS on a device, it will use that. If you don't, it'll check what the router suggests. Same relationship between your router and the ISP.

>download an .exe from Toshiba (accompanying software for SSD - it autoupdated to a version that doesn't detect my model, so I uninstalled and went to download an older version)
>scan with Windows Defender, all good
>update MBAM, scan with it, all good
>for the hell of it, upload to virustotal
>1/69 engines detected something - Alibaba
>WTF
>supposedly detected 'Heur.Win.Harmlet.394'
>realize these are the results from a scan done months ago, based on the file hash
>force a new scan
>all good, 0/69, even Alibaba doesn't show anything this time

Or youtube-dl GUI

What programs should I install on a ssd and which should i keep on hdds? About to install ltsc and need to avoid fucking it up.

Thx

Depends on how much you want to spend.
pcmag.com/roundup/292110/the-best-wireless-routers
TP-link archer is pretty good value.

win10 is already well enough optimized for SSD so you dont need to do much.
Keep all programs on the SSD and depending on size, you can move user files like documents, images, videos etc to the HDD.

Nanostation is just an accesspoint? Just hook it up to the router too...
