Has been for a while, part of the reason for the price hikes has been hiding their falling sales from investors, but i think they stretched their fan loyalty a bit toooo far with the recent price hikes and it's backfiring.

Previously Apple was... premium but affordable, now it's just becoming ridiculous for what you are getting.
