It's dead Jimbo.

>can’t get flac2mp3 to work on win10 for the life of me
god fucking damnit somebody please clue me in on what might be going wrong. The perl script says that flac couldn’t be decoded because “init: file not found” or something to that effect.

But the fucky thing is, if I manually use the flac and lame .exe’s, I can do flac>wav>mp3 just fine. But for some reason the script shits the bed.

I blame it on outdated code on the dev’s part. I’ve tried fucking everything but can’t get this simple god damned script to work

here it is if anyone wants to take a crack at it:

Just use Foobars converter or CUETools retard

Look at the github page, m8. This script is perfect for my use case because it
>preserves directory structure, and allowing you to have both a FLAC library and a mp3 library
>it update just the tags if the file has already been converted but you made metadata changes
I’m storing FLAC on my pc and using mp3 320 for my mp3 player. Nothing else i’ve found has offered the same conveniences, which are important when you plan on having thousands and thousands of songs

why do you need tags

god I fucking love 2D titties

kid3. use mp3 v2 when tagging.

they look fucking terrible, like crab claws. 2dfags are mentally ill

>looking at the clothing instead of thinking of their volume
the only mentally ill person here is you, dummy!

I've been using puddletag

Use ffmpeg

because he's not a monkey like you

echo and cat

Kid3 id you need something free (all platforms)

Jaikoz if you have an absolutely horrendous amount of music to categorize and are willing to pay a little bit (all platforms).

Picard is garbage compared to both.

Have you written him on the issue mailing list?

Made sure flac and lame are where the program expects them to?

it's very clunky and not as straigtforward.
great for autofilling tags though. musicbranz tags are based. they have release date information, which is crucial

just use beets
