You do know you can run coreboot on most of them, upgrade the storage to 512gb, and have battery life in excess of 10 hours... right user? Only shitty thing about them is the keyboard layouts. The Dell Chromebook 13 is the goat linux laptop other then a thinkpad or xps. The reason I threw out my x200 was because the (upgraded) screens are ass. New hardware exists that are Foss.

I'm going to Coreboot it at some point but for now I've stripped the IME from the BIOS and modified the underside using a dremel so I can more easily access the SOIC16 chip.
I just can't get a good build of Coreboot to actually POST yet.
