Use Mac OSX for all engineering work

>use Mac OSX for all engineering work
>runs great
>get emergency ticket to resolve production issue
>testing it, find out it only happens on Windows
>manager gives me Windows laptop
>10 times heavier than the Apple one
>keyboard feels like shit
>takes 15 minutes to boot
>runs like shit overall
>battery doesn't even work, have to plug it in wall
>get through bug as quickly as possible
>almost instinctively throw it in trash when trying to put a it away

So this is the power of Windows

Why don't you try putting MacOS on that dell laptop and see how well it runs?

>what is hardware

>use Thinkpad X1C for all engineering work
>runs great
>get a panicked call from a friend with laptop troubles
>googling it, find out it only happens to braindead iToddlers

>REEEEEEEE Budget machine from 6 years ago doesnt run as fast as 1500 machine from last year! Windowsfags BTFO!!!11!!1!!11

>he doesn't use OSX on a MacBook

Reminder your Mac is also a Windows laptop

For what it's worth, High Sierra ran way better on my t430 than windows does. I'll probably never run anything aside from linux on my laptops though because they're all pieces of shit and I can get them down to ~150MiB on idle which is way better than the 2GB I'm usually sitting on in windows.

My workplace banned Windows. I don't know why anyone still uses thag garbage. Just use Linux or Unix.

Based.

My colleagues run Mac, and literally only email programs, safari and the office suit run without hiccups on them.

It's always "a windows problem", even if they aren't even using windows. Mac is boomer technology.

>use windows
>doing random tasks
>noticing some slowdowns
>open task manager
>some microsoft service is using 100% of the disk
Truly an innovative operating system
use linux

itoddlers will always blame an os for a hardware problems

MacOS works fine with every other OS. Wangblows is the odd one out. It always has issues. It should just be abandoned.

How come when I replace a motherboard on my desktop I have to call microsoft support 8 times until I don't get an Indian to reactivate my windows installation?

Because it is a baby OS for retards.

WINJEETS BTFO!

my colleagues straight up try to get low level configuration software that was programmed for windows to run on Mac. I get that Mac has it pro sides, but can't they just use the right tool for the right job?

do the same comparison on the recent MBP with the memebar and shit butterfly keyboard.

every time i had phone activation, it went through the automated system with no issue. even when i used the key on a completely different machine.
>t. OpenPepe Tumbleweed user

Why would anyone bother writing something for Windows? Just write for Unix and Unix-like operating systems. If Wintoddlers want it they can pay a pajeet to rewrite it for them.

wait is this nigga blaming the hardware on software? Dumb shit

Fuck off, wigger

What do you expect from a mactard? They can only think in black / white terms.

kill yourself

May ask what your dayjob is? Windows still has the biggest marketshare of consumer, prosumer and professional users.

based

Pretty much.

>buy new MBP
>boots slower than my Windows laptop from 2012
So this is the power of Apple.

I swear to fucking god every ifag is a poster child for stockholm syndrome. at least most windows users know that it can be a piece of shit and deal with it anyway

fpbp

Where do you work, if I may ask? I'd love for my workplace to do this. That, and educate boomers on "bloat".

>consumer
If by that you meant *boomer*, then yes
>prosumer
Wat? Take a look around this board WinFag.
>professional
Well I guess that depends on your definition of "professional". If it's Prakesh the pajeet from the "professional" helpdesk, then yes, he probably *does* use Windows.

You know macos has bootcamp to boot other OSs, right? You surely can't be that dumb to not even know that?

What's hardware?

Chances are if you aren't a developer nor american, you use windows.

This. Literally this

The only people in businesses who use Windows are punching numbers into excel and doing other trivial things. Nothing critical uses that garbage pajeetware

answer my questions, how old are you, what is your job. Don't evade the question, you know it prooves my point.

I work in the office building of a large national bank in my country.

so i was right and therefore you choose to dodge the question.

Also third point: you are from US or from canada right?

I didn't evade. My age is none of your business so I rebuked it. I am not from NA.

It was faster to transfer the compiled file via wifi after each compilation than reboot the entire pc.

>things never happened
Try it again Nigger.

>10 times heavier than the Apple one.
Let me guess, you also cut open your fingers when trying to open your onions bottles, right?
>takes 15 minutes to boot.
Never, ever I've had a computer that takes more than 3 minutes to boot. Even when my dad had a Sony Vaio that took ages to boot.
>keyboard feels like shit
So... how's that butterfly keyboard working for you, macfag?
>almost instinctively throw it in trash when trying to put it away.
Either your are an angsty teenage or you are a literal manchildren. Sometimes, in the real life, you'll find things that aren't what you're used to or which you don't like. Suck it up, OP and be an adult.

And also, let me guess, you're the same OP that created this:
