Is this peak ergonomic technology?

Yes

Not sure but thats peak aesthetic technology.

No this is.

>that retarded left analog stick placement

I heard it peaked before the ps1.

The datahand is
go look for a picture yourself, I'm rangebanned from uploading files

Literally what?

Attached: 1200px-GameCube_controller.png (1200x933, 1M)

I'd get cramps from using my DS3 unlike the DS4 and Xbox controller. The dpad on it feels great though.

yes

...

Absolutely fucking not.
>triggers feel fucking awful to press in all the way, stopping before they should naturally stop
>controller stick indentations are too tiny
>control sticks make loud clacking noises when used
>face buttons feel cheap
>shoulder buttons are too small and are hard to keep pressed for long periods of time
And that's just what I can think of off the top of my head

>those x/y buttons
yikes

>concave thumbsticks

Attached: madotsuki_puke.jpg (740x740, 616K)

No, grifta plus trackball or mouse, good luck getting analog movement and mouse at the same time in your game though

need to improve it's d-pad and it's shoulder buttons
other than that is perfect

>GC

This is the ideal game controller. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

I liked PS3 controllers the best till I tried Xbox one controller
Max comfy

idk they still didn't get the dpad right
though I suppose it's an improvement

You are just too used to it, sony literally slapped two analog sticks to the psx controller, using them drops its ergonomy from top to shit tier.
>that right analog and minuscule dpad
close but nah

I can't fucking believe none has managed to copy xbox 360 controller and slap a funcional dpad on it and make bank

I agree with this because it's the only button scheme I'm comfortable with

No. They should have used 6 face buttons like the original xbox

that's peak aesthetics is what

I wouldn't say so. The position of the triggers makes it so your middle finger has to be in a very specific not so comfortable place at times.

Another problem I found, and couldn't fix so far is that the buttons feel like they miss inputs from time to time. I did everything I could, even ordered a replacement silicone pad and the A button still misses from time to time. I don't know if it's because both bluetooth and USB are shit.

And yet another issue, speaking of that, is compatibility with bluetooth. Only W10 works as good as it needs to. On linux it's prone to "hang" or get stuck if you press buttons too fast. macOS, Windows 7 and 8.1 don't even support it.

I mean I like the gamepad, even for 2D games the d-pad ain't that bad but frankly the ergonomics are not that amazing.

You need baby hands to use this comfortably

That isn't my penis.

>hating symmetry
>wanting to co-ordinate your thumbs from different angles

Bumpers feel awful.
Ds4, 360 or switch pro

>4 fingers unused
>peak

Yeah. In fact I've got a friend who's got an xbone and a ps3. I said "mate, you've been a sony guy since the ps1, you know the ps4 has better exclusives, what gives?"
Literally tells me "I sold my ps4 and bought the bone for the controller lol"

No this is

Attached: 61krwz9gYSL._SX425_.jpg (425x374, 14K)

I find it can make my right hand hurt after a while. Something about the angle of the handles that forces my hands into holding it in an uncomfortable way.

Playing Hollow Knight beating some shit that will make anyone angry

On the DS4 after a while my hand would get tired. On the Xbone that's not a thing. The positioning of the d-pad is irrelevant if it's a less comfortable one in the end.

>no gyro
>no touchpad
>all other modern controllers have both and had for years
Ancient piece of shit

for children and men with t i n y hands maybe

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is.

It's better for platformer games.

...

>no touchpad
As if it's even fucking needed. The one on the DS4 is mighty inaccurate and makes the controller last 2 fucking minutes. Fuck out of here with your gimmicky shit.

No
I cant even put my middle fingers on the triggers while having my index fingers on those clicky side buttons

this, what a horrible typeface choice...

People actually use their middle finger for triggers and index for bumpers?
I just slide my index finger up a bit, I can hit the bumper with the side of my 2nd knuckle without ever releasing the trigger.

neGcon is best btw

chad ergonomics coming through

oh god

/thread

No, it's actually the only controller that makes my hands hurt during extended play. Bought it for NieR and DS3 on PC because it just works™ but should have hacked PS4 controller to work with this instead.

>Is this peak ergonomic technology?
If you have to ask the question, the answer is “no”.

>here's your controller bro

actually, this is the best. All it's lacking is gyro

Attached: 452707-nintendo-wii-u-pro-controller[1].jpg (333x245, 10K)

I think so, I like the gamecube contollers' ABXY layout more though

Does it work well with windows?

>I can't fucking believe none has managed to copy xbox 360 controller and slap a funcional dpad on it and make bank

don't know, I use a dullshock since I'm used to it for PC

i learned to love my dualshock 4 thought dark souls 3 pvp, now everything feels so awkward + Souls/Born originated on the playstation so it is meant to be plated with a dualshock.
and platformers are more comfy too
yeah i miss those days, when nintendo made weird own shit that was kinda awesome
that's an xbox 360 controller with a cheaper shell.

The Rift controllers are actually perfect

Materials could maybe be nicer, but in terms of shape it's great. Microsoft put a lot of R&D into it and it shows.

DS4 won me over the xpad

ya

AHEM.

You can't do anything productive with children's toys. Fuck off.

My modern pick

Step aside.

It needs a dongle like or a bluetooth adapter + this application:
wiinupro.com/

I don't buy Nintendo stuff to find that I have a shitty d-pad to deal with.

>text from top clockwise is XABY
>clearly is YBAX on the buttons

>2019
>nobody has beaten Sony's D-Pad yet

*sip* now the ps2 THAT was a console

Attached: 1532847036982.png (380x349, 77K)

I just got one and I feel like the touchpads are a bit gimmicky

How is the switch pro?
I'm between this or a dual shock 4

this except the original version that doesn't have an analog stick
analog sticks are the least functional input method

I wish the Xbox controller wasn't retarded. I still confuse XY because I'm used to Nintendo

>xbox 360 controller and slap a funcional dpad on it and make bank
except a bunch of companies tried that

Attached: 86_sabertooth.png (500x500, 149K)

fucking small, this shit is really meant for children and fat small hands(average murica).

I like the ds4 more.

This controller works best for children, or people with really small hands

That's for nintendo emulators, dumb-dumb. You can clearly see the face buttons have the Xbox layout.

I have that exact controller, it is hot fucking garbage

No this is.

Attached: skynews-xbox-adaptive-controller_4312316[1].jpg (1600x900, 58K)

why do people ever make this dumb argument? when your right thumb goes there why not your left?

Your right thumb goes on the buttons where it most comfortable. Games rarely utilize the right analog stick.

>Games rarely utilize the right analog stick.
are you actually retarded?

>He plays fps with a controller

Reaching the RB/LB buttons hurts my hands. And using the d-pad is also terrible in many games.

thing is disabled people are such a small percentage of microsoft's client base. this is completly an image thing and not to make money off the controler.

again are you retarded? anything in 3D uses right stick as camera controls. you /v/ fucks need to stop playing shitty indie games.

Right, people who are the main demographics for video games
Small children and underdeveloped adults

It's great nonetheless since it's giving the ability to play games to people who've been forgotten by the industry.

Did you just compare jews to retards?

No for me it was the Xbox 360 controller. I find the Xbox one controller slightly too small to be comfortable.

I have to agree with the ps3 controller.

But ill take it a step farther and say the version without dualshock was better. That shit was like 10x lighter than the rumble version and that battery life was insane.

Attached: 1252877849158.jpg (1280x1024, 108K)

This

>that retarded baby duck syndrome

You're holding it wrong

controllers with only 8 "buttons" are holding the industry back
The Elite Controller model is the future

How can people play racing games with xbox controllers? It has tiny joysticks and triggers with absurd stiffness curve.

Only 8 buttons and no gyroscope.

>Only 8 buttons

>no gyroscope
irrelevant
