Bought a 1700x on release and I'll be updating to zen2 on release.

Cope for what? I have a 2700X, But you don't see me shilling for one or the other either.
People like you give AMD fans a bad name. You truly are a faggot.

AMD GUDER!!! AMD CHEAP!!!
>PERFORMANCE DOESN'T MATTER!
4790k beating a 2700....kek
Have some OC.
>shitel is so bad can't even play csgo
Jesus christ.....
Is it Obama botnet tho?
Who?
>better performance after patch
top kek
Based Ryzen tripling your FPS from Intel garbage trash.
>console plebs in the ~32ms range
>we're bitching about 2.1ms vs 4.5ms
glorious pc master race
Based 9900K bro. Is that all core?
it kinda sucks that intel is dying but eh, maybe apple will acquire intel who knows
Now try it with a video card like normal people.
>implying this is prime95 avx stable
Yup, haven't fucked with my ram much though
prime95 avx doesn't matter
It get's up to 85c at the hottest core but yeah it is very stable with an undervolt.
see
Stop having shit igpu
run 1344 min/max small ffts for 20 minutes and post screenshot
>i7 8700k
>ryzen 7 2700
>10% worse performance
hurr durr amd bad
Not bad, I have it on a triple rad so it's a tad lower than that
A few days ago.
>Needing 2 extra core to stay relevant
Just stop already......
I've got an NH-D15, i'd like to have water cooling like that in the future but i still have worries about leaks and so on.
Imagine your new 7nm technology to catch up to 14nm.
It still won't clock as high so i'm betting gaming will still lack for the new zen compared to a 9700 or 9900k.
Run the latest Prime95 with AVX workloads small fft for 2 hours and show me that your computer doesn't crash. You can't. And because you can't means that your CPU isn't stable for all workloads and you should bring down the clocks and volatages.
Mine clocks down for AVX workloads to 4.8.
That being said though, I never tried AVX at 5.0
screenshot proof of you doing 4.8ghz small fft for more than 1 hour
You know he won't deliver.
>StoreMI
if those 2 extra cores are not needed (according to you) then why did intel step up and create 6 and 8 core i7s 10 years after they pushed 4 core after 4 core with 10% performance gains each generation
something tells me that you're a shill
B-but intel told me that the i7 8700k outperforms the Threadripper 2990wx in making music playists and gayming! how could they lose?!
>When did you guys switch to Ryzen?
at launch
If Ryzen 2 is going to be even halfway decent, then this is going to be another Shoah.
At least 5-10% better performance if not more.
>prime95 avx doesn't matter
Anyone can overclock if they ignore stability, bro.
Intel will unironically glue two 9900Kelvin. Get ready for another socket change, this time chillers will be a requirement.
I'm still running an overclocked FX-4350 after all these years, and waiting to make a huge upgrade to Zen 2.
Hot
> The Intel cries out in pain as it strikes you
Who here wants to see intel release the Jewish Internet Defense Force on to the web to defend it when Zen2 gets out
You could still get an upgrade by OCing the hell out of an 8370 and not buy new socket and ram
never lol
God I wish that was me
God wish he was me
trash ram, but like the cpu
Never did
>video games
Fuck off back to /v/ and stay there.
what do you do in your spare time for fun?
>compiled by redd*t user ...
literally redd*t: the cpu
not being a faggot redd*ter is enough of a reason by itself to buy intel even if they werent miles better
how many psus you been through?
>performance is for /v/ only
lol amd drones
Shit cpu
Can confirm shit ram. It came with the motherboard though so its whatever. dont buy that ram it doesnt even get to 3200 on this platform. Caps at 2800.
Still the same ~8 year old one. The fan is all kinds of fucked up and there's hair and shit in it everywhere, but it works fine.
Beats everything else in its current price range though.
>Beats everything else in its current price range though.
what price range is that? I wouldn't pay 5 bucks for it
Anyone retarded enough to go on the internet and flame over which company they should throw their money at deserves the anxiety they bring upon themselves
Epic
>too retarded to cut down links to the bare essentials
>backdoors dont matter
don't ryzen chips have backdoors in them too? or am I ill-informed?
>guy brings up performance metrics in a thread about CPUs
>FUCKING /v/ FAGGOT GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY THREAD REEEEEE
the only one here obsessed with video games is you, user.
>"""gaming""" on an igpu
lmaoing all the way to the bank.
Honestly just glad there's genuine competition these days instead of amd's FX sniffing glue and intel sniffing farts with tiny incremental improvements.
>its current price range
newegg.com
>$88.42
We'll call that the $75 to $120 bracket for giggles. You can get a ryzen 3 1200 for $80, or a 2200G for $100.
Both the 2200G and 1200 wipe the floor with the ol 8350, even if by a small margin. I should know because I had a 9370 @ 5ghz for years and it was the worst processor I've ever had the displeasure of using for more than a decade because the fucking thing refused to die or become too horrifically obsolete.
FX was awful and I'm very glad its gone now. Looking forward to picking up lots of them in a few years time for media servers.
>using for more than a decade
just looked it up and this is factually incorrect, 9370 released in 2013. Just felt that long I guess.
>1440p high graphics CPU benchmark
Yes, I constantly shitpost on my phone and switch IPs.
You don't know how to do that?
Only thing separating the systems on that list is the cpu, ergo differences of performance in that test are the most "scientific" you can get with cpu performance in games given that the gpu is insane overkill for that game and is only limited by cpu performance.
It doesn't matter. 1080 low should be the standard when testing CPU/RAM.
You'll find that would flatten the graph so only the most powerful and weakest chips would show any difference from the mean.
That's the point. People wanting the best will pay the premium.
next build will be amd.
had one before the current and was a fine machine.
current puter is showing its age and old intels for my socket are crazy priced. if i get current modern ryzen 2, new mobo and mem it is worth the upgrade considering speed and cores. but ima wait for 3.
never had complaints about amd, but intel is good too.
What if I have 200 dollars but can stretch another 10 if I deem the difference is worth it but only if the parts are compatible with some existing parts I already have?
"The best" is irrelevant to the vast majority of people buying parts, and everyone already knows what "the best" is. (Biggest number next to the intel logo will always be "the best" at gayman, so why even have the graph?)
To show that a 9700k without HT is the better buy than 9900k even with 4MB more cache, or 8700k vs 8600k.
