For me it's just really frustrating when shit that's meant to work for Linux just doesn't work. I was using mint at one point and I just couldn't get Spotify to install no matter what, whether it was from the repo or installing from console or on their website or whatever. I don't play many games so that's not a huge deal for me, but it does suck that one of the few games I do play which has Linux support is always updated way after the windows update so it's frequently a version behind so you can't play any multiplayer servers. I would genuinely like to switch to Linux because winblows pisses me off but I feel like I'd probably just be better off moving to LTSB

I just find it convoluted when I'm dealing with anything outside of basic tasks. macOS is considered a walled garden for this, but on Linux you're still quite limited by different factors.

Like I'm here trying to make my desktop not stutter, lag or tear and it's not an easy task. Something that at this point in time seems really difficult and attached to the desktop environment being used. I love how KDE works but I can't possibly make it work without a graphical flaw of some sort. GNOME not only requires me to fix it as well, it's also pretty barebones by default, almost as limited as Unity (which ironically enough gets rid of the issues I have on both GNOME and KDE). It's all a bit messy.
