Command prompt that shows time, battery level, Github data and everything you can throw at it

Why aren't you using the fish shell, Jow Forums?

zsh has those features with plugins, and wasn't made by retards, so it's a real Unix shell

>zsh
>open terminal
>shitty shell bloated with oh-my-onions plugins takes ten seconds to load

oh-my-zsh is for faggots who don't care about speed. zplug is superior. My shell load time is less than a second

I use emacs

>uses eshell as primary shell
based and redpilled

>t. fat, greasy virgin

This is retarded.
I can do all that and more, in a fucking i3 bar at the bottom of my screen, not in the prompt of my shell.

>needing all this unnecessary info after each command
git data makes sense to include on each prompt line, just shove battery, time, and RAM usage into your tmux layout

>prompt that shows time, battery level, github data, and everything you can throw at it
why would you want this? battery level should be displayed by your bar of choice. do you not know what Xorg nor wayland are? are you still living in a framebuffer in 2019?
time isn't all that useful in a terminal as it doesn't update idly. github is a social media platform, not a collab platform.
>information about suspended processes
do you not know what %1 is? read about fucking job control
>comfy predictive autocompletion features
useful, but more tacky than anything else, you should know where you're going before you start typing.
>Why aren't you using the fish shell
because I'm using bash and actually know the features of my shell instead of needing to be spoonfed them. RTFM.

>time isn't all that useful in a terminal
Yes it is, for example, when you want to know the time in which you executed a command.

how'd you get that pic of me?

Isn't eshell slow as fuck tho?

>t. neet

You can do this in bash too

bloat

>implying a feature that is useful as fuck is bloat

>Yes it is, for example, when you want to know the time in which you executed a command
There's a command for that, it's called "time"

time

real 0m0,000s
user 0m0,000s
sys 0m0,000s

wut

Your program executed fast

I suppose if you were too dumb to configure something as basic as a shell without a web ui, you would find something like that useful.

Holy fuck are you fucking serious? What the fuck is fucking wrong with these fucktards. Jesus christ this is actually disgusting.

Sure, because spending fifteen minutes changing the color codes of a text file is totally the same than clicking some colors in a GUI.

I guess you are one of those that think you are a retard if you don't use Gentoo as your main distro.

Damn, I guess there really is no way to include prepackaged themes without bundling a local web server into our shell, you're right user. Don't worry about replying to my post, I wouldn't want you to waste 15 minutes editing a difficult post in text.

Are you actually retarded? You can not only choose one of the prepackaged themes, you can also edit every color of the theme, the form of the prompt, functions and variables, keybindings...

You are absolutely delusional if you don't think this is useful.
