What's the best laptop I can get for under £200? I'm looking to sell my 2015 13" MBP, as I literally just use it for web browsing and email.

Not interested in used. Literally all I need is something good for web browsing with a good battery life. Are any chink laptops good?
You just described the perfect use case for a Chromebook. I own a clapped put Dell Precision M4800 and a 2015 Toshiba CB2 with 13.3" 1080p IPS screen. Get close to 12 hours per charge on a 3 cell battery

Aren't they terrible? Or have they improved lately?
No, they're still terrible. But you'll get 8 hours of terrible use.
Just buy an X220, it'll last longer and do web browsing as well.
Buy a used thinkpad.
Most of the time it would just be running off the mains, the battery life isn't so important actually
If you don't need the battery, a used laptop from a few years ago will have decent specs and be in your range.

Terrible how? In what regard? As in they can't do what windows can? Then yeah. Nothing even comes close to a decent CB for the price.
t. No nothing with loyalty to think pads
For under £200, you would likely not do much better than argos.co.uk
Thanks user, I was onboard until I saw
>1366 x 768
How is this shit being sold for £200? Absolute fucking scam.
British sites are just as cancerous as American ones, good times.
Yes
Do you have a desired specification for that, and any other components?
1080p is fine, 768p is not
OK man, you're into cheap noname stuff there, something like ebay.co.uk
Used Latitude haswell or ivy generation, smaller
Used Elitebook (2570p for example)

If you really don't want a used business notebook, the only thing I can come close to recommending is out of your budget. If you really want a 1080p screen for under 200 britbongs, you's pretty fucked. Look for an ideapad 330 or something I guess, or like an acer/asus piece of shit that'll fall apart on you.
You are going to get what, £500 for that Mac? And then spend £250ish to get a much shittier device? Is that worth it?
