Does ESXi work goodly on laptops? Just curious - I don't hate proxmox so far but I would like to try ESXi too

OP here, looks like probably not

kys tripfag

Why would I kill myself? Here's my reasoning on why I wouldn't:

If I live, there's always a chance of having good feels.
If I die there is zero chance of having good feels.
Easy choice to not kill self.

It better be a workstation grade precision with dual Xeon / 64GB ram

>e-sexy

It isn't :( It's and Alienware with 32 GiB

Jordan is kinda an OG, though he was mostly a shit poster before

Your good feels are less valuable then the good feels of the general population. Your death would bring good feels to many, in turn you would also get good feels for helping so many. Maximum good feels.

So, kys.

Why would you even do this. ESXi is meant to run headless

So is proxmox which I've been using headless for a couple months now
Don't give a shit about the feels of others desu

Then why would we give a shit about yours?

So, still, kys.

Your desire for me to kill myself has no bearing on my own desires and I've said above why I wouldn't kill myself.

And I've refuted those false claims with sound logic, but your only response was hurr I don't care.

So, again, kys.

Okay, but this begs the question. Why are you running headless virtualization software on a laptop

Its actually not that bad on a laptop. I ran it on one with Intel i7 7700k, 32GB ram. It detected everything on the laptop including model number. It ran for 6 months straight without a reboot then I ended up selling the laptop.

What else am I supposed to do with an Alienware laptop? Too big to take to school, not fast enough to actually play games. Just right for a home server
>sound logic
>claims of getting good feels by killing one's self
bro you couldn't feel those feels if you were dead

did the network card work? That's what I had trouble with on my desktop the one other time I tried esxi and it's pretty much crucial to have a network connection. I don't need or expect wireless to work but last time I had to like create my own install image with some hacked driver that never did work

Afterlife feels, the best kind of feels. Eternal feels.

also, kys.

u first

no u

kill yourself you faggot

nigger, my single socket boards have 256gb

>im too retarded to know about VT-d

>how could you ever actually use a computer running esxi as a desktop
yes its a rtx 2080ti

posting on a shit thread

if you kys, there's 0% chance for bad feels
if u don't, there's a 90% chance for bad feels
