dont think so, plastic screens should drop the rate of thots with cracked glasses by almost 140%, they should implement multiple peel off protectors to get rid of the scratches and some oleophobic tech to make it smooth, I think research on that is more important than research on meme glass that will eventually shatter anyway.

Motorola phones screens don't break. The problem isn't glass screens, it's that they don't use the technology that Motorola does. I've dropped my g5 countless times and only the rear camera's glass has a thin crack in it.
