I personally don't have the other language ones because how often am I going to be on an Estonian website?

See no reason to use on desktop

I use GNU/Linux so not worried about malware, besides these are probably mostly domains you get directed to through ads

I use adblock on my router so these would be redundant + I use uBlock Origin with default to block first-party scripts and everything third-party so it would catch anything not in any filter list
>Region, languages
Most likely your own region will be enough

No. The developer gorhill said medium mode + default settings is the way to go.
Not OP but how do you adblock through the router is it just a dif dns?
I use OpenWRT on my router and it has an adblock package. Changing DNS to one that provides adblocking works too.
yeah

Nah just Fanboy complete list (ultimate breaks some shit for me).
flter isn't a blacklist, it can allow sites too. (@@)

Drive-by attacks which use 0-days in browser sandboxes, or plugins, are possible. At least spoof your UA, that way you might get served the wrong exploit.
I use uBO in combination with uMatrix, so I block most stuff by default. The rest gets handled by the default lists just fine.
Ah can't use OpenWRT because it's an ISP router, best I can do is DNS
No, it works fine by default.
They can download whatever they want I have / mounted noexec :^)
You mean you have it jailed? the whole real / w/noexec aren't going to work.
No that would be retarded :)
advanced mode says so
I use firejail and I have noexec / in my config file, seems to be working fine.
