Get on my level.

>WSL
Holy shit nigger what are you doing.

If you're running Windows, you're doing it wrong.

>macshit
Found your problem.

>wsl
you fucking faggot

I mean, you could just use a Mac, but let's not go there.

Emacs users are too retarded to know that they're retarded. The definition of the Dunning Kruger effect, they will fail at any commercial programming project because of their utter lack of pragmaticism.

I tried that but the small file I/O penalty was so severe I was getting better performance SSHing into a Linux VM. NT is a big fat mess.

>WSL
Ahahahaha.

>pragmaticism
pragmatism*

Laugh all you want, but I'll be laughing, too... all the way to the bank!!

...trying to argue them out of repossesing your shit 'cause you lost it all trying to make a piece of shit implementation on a piece of shit OS work for you.
t. Gentoo forever

>forces it through Linux plumbing for absolutely no benefit whatsoever

Why?

More like, repossessing my shit because they won't accept my million dollar bill, newly minted because I just made a trillion dollars programming the next Facebook.

Incels fuming

Bloatmaxxing is the way to go man

Based.
Nah, I just run vanilla Emacs in a GUI with my custom packages. No reason to resort to some meme modified versions.

Btw summoning the cutest Emacs distribution guy.

>Btw summoning the cutest Emacs distribution guy.

That's me, AKA, OP.

lol

spacemacs is harmful

My dick is harmful.

To your face.

I swear the way people misuse "Incel" is horrible

>that mouse
>that window border
Is this fucking x11 under WSL

The NT kernel and NTFS are the problem. Whether Win64 or WSL, Spacemacs takes over a minute to start even on an SSD. Graphical Emacs on some form of *nix is indeed the superior option. Actually at one point I was running the Lucid GUI (not Gtk3, an older X11 toolkit that doesn't abuse shmem) for Emacs remotely via X2go or RDP and it worked pretty well.

Yeah it's possible. Start VcXsrv and set DISPLAY properly and off you go.

>Spacemacs takes over a minute to start even on an SSD
Imagine literally closing Emacs.
