>This isn't a hanging out binnie.
Don't provoke a Netflix and chill one

is something funny?
possibly
Lel gotem.
Very nice webm.
But newgrounds is dead too..
i try my best
it's alive
let's play swords and sandals and sonny
would you care to share with the class?
so is Jow Forums but we're still here
Daily reminder to praise Dubu.
So I did drive again in my dreams lol.
morning you two
I know.
My system can't handle those graphics unfortunately.
Oh no... Maybe WE were dead all along.
Mo.
t. m night
let's go
2nd time in a row you dreamed about driving in the Netherlands? That's omo
>neighbours already have lights on their house
>Christmas shows already playing on television
Well, I guess they at least waited until december...
>swords and sandals
I bet they made twenty new ones
No, I drove down the street to my friend's and then we drove together to Mcdonalds??
what is going on
Mo night.
It's 9 am. What kinda weirdo would I be if I went to sleep at this time of day?
Video editing?
do danish naming conventions work like icelandic ones?
if someone's last name is jeppson, does that mean his dad was called jepp?
i only ever played the first two and i couldn't even tell them apart desu
Sounds lamer
You peaked yesterday
What's in Haseul's nest?
I tried at least three, I think. They changed things up a bit but I don't remember what it was anymore.
Maybe I'll dream of driving through rows of Dutch cyclists one day.
time for bed, bye bant
i'm going to bed
monight nideed
goodnight
Hasn't worked like that in a long time here but since it was so common there's a lot of last names with -son and -sen in scandinavia.
Dottir is very icelandic though since last names are historically inherited from the father's side.
Sleep good.
Very Geyly timed sleep
Night
The passing of the torch back to the Europeans...
Doesn't it make more sense for a woman to be called "the daughter of X" than "the son of X"?
no
Sounds like a nightmare actually
>goodnight
rest easy
rest easy to you too
but the woman doesn't pass down her name so after this convention stopped most of these names disappeared, logical no?
Yeah if you go by that naming convention which is why that's mostly a thing in iceland.
Here we've been doing the "passing down father's last name" thing for a long time so all that remains are the masculine versions.
Oh no.
Maybe we'll accomplish one of those shared dreams where you'll be among the cyclists and me in the back with the car...
But why would a woman have to pass it down when it clearly refers to the holder of the surname only? It wouldn't make any sense for a man to have the -dottir surname, either.
>Doesn't it make more sense for a woman to be called "the daughter of X" than "the son of X"?
It's been done
Those names died out
The woman doesn't pass on her last name, pabochingu.
>shared dreams
Omo
Doesnt sound like a dream I'd like to partake it though
Meanie
because they stopped doing this kind of naming, and those names became the family names so when a man and a woman marry their children will get the father's name like everywhere else so the female names disappear
why are you this slow? is it the lack of oxygen in the mountains?
Seems like an easy thing to keep going dbh.
Yes, so?
Wouldn't you say that was d*mb to get rid of?
I think it makes administration more complicated so when a community reaches a certain size it's only natural that these practices disappear but idk
>so when a community reaches a certain size
Never happened over there
Well I don't know, Czechs and Slovaks still have this thing where women's surnames change (so Novak turns to Novakova). We don't write that but it's used colloquially.
Just sleep
but then it changes back to novák if they have a son, it practically stays the same and not an incoherent string of names
>incoherent string of names
Eh? Wouldn't make sense for a son to get his mom's surname.
his dad's
the wife can take her husbands name too but on official papers they always ask for her maiden name right?
I don't see why that would cause problems dbh.
huh?
coffee
I saw a commercial for special edition coffee with cinnamon yesterday.
I want to try it
Well, time to visit and buy some. Last year, they made a chocolate-flavoured coffee during advent and it tasted off in my opinion.
This reminds me, we're going to Austria tomorrow.
Aand hes back to life
Jesenice doesn't count as austria
for now.
i thought so. jepp is a pretty dumb name isn't it?
Eh? I said Austria, not Bosnia lol
lol
Gonna pay respects to your former and future rulers there?
Watch it, dw**b.
Yeah I've never heard of anyone called that.
I have heard jeppe but it still sounds pretty silly.
>I have heard jeppe but it still sounds pretty silly.
Shut up, my rabbit is called that
You should go to the Austrian netherlands Tbh
Classic. I meant for people though.
Give it steroids.
