I need a new t.v. to watch CNN

I need a new t.v. to watch CNN.
Is this t.v. any good?

LG 55UK6300

Attached: 55UK6300.jpg (800x600, 81K)

It's last year's standard 4K model for LG. They've got a decent track record.

Why not just smear shit on the wall and watch that?
Same content, but resolution is way better

t. Julian Assange

no, that is a terrible tv, they give it away with internet plans where I live.

If you are going to by a LG LCD then at least get an UK7700 series or go with an SK series (SK8000, SK8500, and SK9500). That or go with a 2019 model with full spec HDMI 2.1 and a nanocell color filter.

Entry level branded tv aren't any better than no name brands.

Also, smart TVs are the worst kind of Internet of shit botnet

I thought only actual boomers watch the news on TV, more modern people read them on the internet.

cnn.com is botnet
how do you watch t.v. without internet?

nice politics thread

> watching T.V. at all

Stop watching TV.

>to watch CNN
just stop

I too am in the market for a new tv in OPs pricerange (300-500)
looking for 50-55 inches
am stuck. too many options. pls help?

even the best tv won't make the news less fake

The similarly priced Samsung 6-series will look better in every way except off-angle and is about an inch thinner. only 2 hdmi ports but if you can deal then you'll have a much better TV overall

>CNN
Yes that LG's good. Although personally I prefer a Samsung to watch Fox news

get yourself a pair of blinders
then you won't have to watch CNN

No Ambilight no buy.

Samsung's off-axis is a deal breaker IMO. I bought one and it's so terrible that I regret the purchase. It's significantly worse than my decade old 720p TV.

you need a crt to watch CNN

they flipflop so fast on their stories when called on their bullshit, a OLED just can't keep up with the refreshrate

>New York Times shit bait thread
>Now CNN shill thread

>CNN
>literal leftist overt propaganda

you can just stick your head in a public toilet and get the same amount of information

kill yourself OP

Cam you give me recommendation for 40-43" 4k tv that might be used as a 2nd monitor sometimes?

My biggest problem is there isn't too many good optins, 40" tvs are entry tier now

respond pls

Recently got cheapest non smart 43" LG TV for xiaomi tv box and only issue I have with it is that it's not that bright.

My very old 42" high end LG with ccfl is much brighter than this direct led thing.

Power consumption on the new one is much lower tho, you get laptop brick with it, TV itself works on 19V and maximum draw is like 40W or so why old one could easily pull 170W+.

is it even possible to get nonsmart tvs anymore?

you forgot your varg

No not really
There really isn't a reason to get flustered about smart TVs anymore anyway

someone who is sufficiently autistic could likely set up a mosaic TV wall made up of smaller panels, most likely microLED when that finally shows up on the market

TCL 43S425
Cheap
HDMI 2.0
Good input lag
Accurate colors out the box
