24" 1920x1200 is the pinnacle of comfort.

fpbp

>not using 640x480 resolution with 16 colors
wut

No, 27" 1440p
And I don't even own one

I do own one. It's okay, but not comfy enough.

I have one

32" 1440p, fight me irl

Let's up that, waiting for my 3840x2400 24" monitor so I can use 200% DPI scaling with.

I'm a poorfag, so 17" 1280x1024 is comfy enough for me.

after using a 5K iMac, my U2415 really feels like too low of a resolution .. I wish 3840x2400x24 would exist outside of that rare IBM monitor from like 2003 but it'll never happen.

Close, 25" 1440p is better

if you use a monitor vertical then 24 isn't enough, 27 is the best

It has never been the sweet spot. Anything less than 27" and I would rip my eyes out. Also maybe its the sweet spot if you are using 10trash80p.

Yes, 24" 1920x1080.

>Screenlets thinking 24" is comfy.
lol.

4K+ ultrawide is the future

Nope, not the best. I still love it though, and that is why it is in portrait mode next to my main monitor. It's just fat enough not to be a ridiculous skinny tile, which is the main reason you can't use a 1080p monitor sideways.
This is the winner. Nearly identical ppi with the aforementioned side monitor. It's just great, and means I never have to look at anything that is not a computer monitor, which is just how I like things.

What is this? U ant?

27 Inch 1080p

thats the best

I got two of this for my home office. Dell Ultra sharp. Money well spent.

I've been juggling between two

27" TN
32" curved VA

both are 1440p 144hz. Which is superior between the two?

I use that as a portait monitor. It's pretty comfy; anything above 24" is just too tall and requires you to move your neck up a lot.
It fucking sucks that 16:10 monitors are becoming so rare.

Maybe if you are still in last decade and also think that Thinkpads are good.

I borrowed a 27” 1440p when I had to get my 24” 1080p repaired. Big mistake, I couldn’t go back. I actually had to check in the settings because I thought the resolution was fucked when I first plugged it in again. But no, that was actually what 1080p looked like compared to the 1440p I was now used to.

isn't the dpi virtually the same?

how do you 24 inch screenlets relax? lean back in your chairs right now. you might as well be looking at a fucking phone.

keep coping, screenlets.

Is comfy on Jow Forums code for "it sucks, but i forced myself to like it"?

>60Hz
denied

24" 1080p is ~92 ppi. 27" 1440p is 109 ppi. Significant difference if you ask me.

Why the hell are 27" 1440p monitors like twice as expensive as the 1080p version, does a 50% increase in resolution really cost that much. Ironically you could add just a little bit a get a 4k.

Curved displays are meme
Go with the 27" TN

24 inches is for midgets

>27" TN
Suffer from poor viewing angles and color shift which are inherent to the technology, but modern TN panels have improved on those issues and are not as noticeable.
>32" curved VA
Many consumer grade VA panels suffer from VA Glow and clouding which are inherent to the technology. You should expect those issues to be exacerbated with a curved display.

Even though the VA panel will have nicer color reproduction and viewing angles, I would still go with the TN monitor.
BTW which models are you considering.

VA panels also suffer from ghosting.

There is no greater pain.

The C24G1 rivals TN panels when it comes to ghosting/smearing.
OD=Off is what VA panels usually look like (with max overdrive even).

I rather prefer 27' 1080p with a high refresh rate myself, but to each their own I suppose.

For vidya? Text work or browsing is pretty damn ugly on 1080p@27"
