Mpv net - the Jow Forumsreatest media player

Finally windows users can enjoy the benefits of mpv that linux and mac users had for years. All thanks to based stax. No need for VLC, Potplayer or MPC anymore. The amazing mpv net can do the same and more.

We still have Vic's voice.

>The amazing mpv net can do the same
You can't customize MPV UI though. Can't even change the color of the play button and the seek bar and other shit.

u sure about that user?

Why would I use “.net” when regular mpv works fine

Yes considering what you've shown there.
Post customization code for each and every element showcased there including the UI background or get the fuck out.

here ya go user.

Mpv had windows builds since day 1.

>2000 lines of autism code to customize simple UI
>i can modify an entire webpage in Stylus with less than 50 lines
What the fuck is this dogshit?

It is what u asked for.

Not with an actual installer, context menu and setting UI.

>file has 2 subs in the same language with the same name but both are different
Is there a way to make it so mpv picks for example sub number 7 instead of number 6? Both are named for example Por ( Portuguese )

Technically, it had an installer and context menu. No setting menu, but I believe there was an installer that copied a .conf to the right spot, making it unneeded.

Guys, where do you put your config files on linux? I couldn't find them on any of these paths: mpv.io/manual/master/#files

Why would you need an installer? It's even better that you can just extract it and have it work.

mpv in default configuration will use /usr/local/etc/mpv/ as config directory, while most Linux distributions will set it to /etc/mpv/).

Just use the mpv cycle function
mpv.io/manual/stable/#subtitles

I was waiting for mpv to create the mpv.conf and input.conf files just so I could see their locations but apparently the program doesn't create them by itself (at least not in this case).
Anyway, I copied my input.conf and mpv.conf from my windows install to /etc/mpv/ and it worked just fine, the program recognized both of them, thanks.

mplayer has too

mpv net is better

I prefer installing daily-use software rather than running it portable.

Why?

As a windows user I pretty much normalized installing software.

But why do you prefer it?

A habit turned to preference. Feels more native to me(even if technically it is almost the same shit)

>its another media player general shitposting thread even though all players produce the same result unless intentionally configured wrong
based and retardpilled

silence vlc shill

>there are now two "mpv" threads going concurrently
why dont the other mpv fags join this one?

Why should I use this one over the normal one? Does this let me play acestream links?

I mean you can play acestream links on any version of mpv with this.

github.com/jonian/acestream-launcher

On Windows 10.

mpv.net > mpv
t. W10 user

underrated

vlc sux

That doesn't answer my question.

mpv.net has mousewheel volume by default.
mpv.net > mpv

So does mpv
