any news on irc about libplacebo?

glad to see again the patrician mpv

Just: JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEB

Seems like a good place to ask - how come calling MPV from a winform c# program is much slower than doing the same from a QT python program? Also, does libmpv require write permission in the current working directory? I've been stuck on this with a mac os app for the longest time. Everything works when launching it using open command but launching it from finder results in no audio

Also, MPV is fucking awesome

Attached: file.png (981x891, 124K)

>mac os app
just use iina

It's not for me, it's something i'm making for someone else with some very specific requirements. Anyway, works fine when launching the mach-o from py2app or pyinstaller and even the app bundle works fine from command line but there is something weird with how the working directory is set on mac os depending on how you launch your program. So i thought it might have something to do with either mpv or youtube-dl needing write permission

>profile=gpu-hq
sounds like that could be bad bang for buck tbqh

one hour on mpvretarded.net and you get this look

Off-topic: does anyone measure performance of gather and compute shaders aside of the shitty table bjin did years ago?

>dub

Is adaptive-sharpen meant only for anime or can I use it in live action content also?

more like both, I'll say it even works better in live content for example 720p to 1080p scaling

How to change home directory on wingblows

Read the manual.

>Imagine loonixtards feeling threatened that windows users finally have viable mpv build.

Keep bumping the thread, dear ;)

>loonixtards

this guy is becoming a meme

>mpv.io/manual/master/#files-on-windows

use the search retard

I prefer installing daily-use software rather than running it portable.

Why?

As a windows user I pretty much normalized installing software.

But why do you prefer it?

A habit turned to preference. Feels more native to me(even if technically it is almost the same shit)

JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEB

bump

my answer was not carrot

silence vlc shill

>there are now two "mpv" threads going concurrently
why dont the mpv.net fags join this one?

i said broccoli, why the fuck was i supposed to say carrot

Why should I use this one over the normal one? Does this let me play acestream links?

I mean you can play acestream links on any version of mpv with this.

github.com/jonian/acestream-launcher

On Windows 10.

the fact that this reply was written 2 minutes ago before that mpv.net sick user copied it to bump his own is hilarious

>Win10 users actually denying they have the enough skills for the patrician mpv builds

mpv > mpv.net
t. W10 user

>af=dynaudnorm=f=2000:n=0:p=0.5

dynaudnorm gives me audio hiccups on win10. What do?

Is it possible to bind a script or a script function to a key?
I've seen load-script but if I'm not mistaken it loads a copy of the script if it's already loaded

I want to be able to execute autoload.lua on demand and not on startup

No problems here on W10 with
N af toggle lavfi=[dynaudnorm=f=200:g=5:r=0.1]

I said cucumber. does that make me gay?

change the last line to
mp.add_key_binding("p", "start-file", find_and_add_entries)

underrated

ffmpeg sux

learn to use it first idiot

>Artoriuz not doing its job

being an mpvretarded.net on Jow Forums gets you this look

ARTORIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZ

mpv.retardnet sucks

thanks, it worked like a charm

What the fuck my answer was actually carrot. What does this mean?

>Not promising.
Pretty much, I was the one that did those comparisons, timings went from 4ms with ewa_lanczossharp to 10ms with ravu_zoom_r4 with barely any difference in quality.
The videos were all high quality 720p blu-ray encodes.
My system:
RX 480 8gb with 1.9.4.1 Driver
Ryzen [email protected]

That you are actually gay, congrats user.
