Seems like a good place to ask - how come calling MPV from a winform c# program is much slower than doing the same from a QT python program? Also, does libmpv require write permission in the current working directory? I've been stuck on this with a mac os app for the longest time. Everything works when launching it using open command but launching it from finder results in no audio
It's not for me, it's something i'm making for someone else with some very specific requirements. Anyway, works fine when launching the mach-o from py2app or pyinstaller and even the app bundle works fine from command line but there is something weird with how the working directory is set on mac os depending on how you launch your program. So i thought it might have something to do with either mpv or youtube-dl needing write permission

Off-topic: does anyone measure performance of gather and compute shaders aside of the shitty table bjin did years ago?

i said broccoli, why the fuck was i supposed to say carrot
the fact that this reply was written 2 minutes ago before that mpv.net sick user copied it to bump his own is hilarious

dynaudnorm gives me audio hiccups on win10. What do?

Is it possible to bind a script or a script function to a key? I've seen load-script but if I'm not mistaken it loads a copy of the script if it's already loaded
I want to be able to execute autoload.lua on demand and not on startup

No problems here on W10 with N af toggle lavfi=[dynaudnorm=f=200:g=5:r=0.1]
