good luck winning the IPS panel lottery.

UltraSharp

Any specific model in mind?

>any factory calibrated ~professional grade~/~media~ monitor
>the rest is mostly luck, take it back for a new one if the luminosity uniformity is too low

Anything with Dolby HDR.

>pays extra for ips
>uses it in front of a window

>those bezels
what the fuck? if you hit something on the side then its fucking broken.

My Panasonic 19" vga crt that's what's best for media comsumption

my 21 inch trinitron CRT is better

Don't hit your monitor then, retard

why the fuck would you hit your monitor on the side? how retarded are you

you are so spectacularly retarded

well im not talking about intentionally obviously

Normal people generally don't move objects around at force near their electronics.

That monitor looks tiny; might as well use a laptop

Also wondering how that would happen. In 20 years my monitors never got hit by anything

>getting an IPS, ever, if you're not a video or photo editor
99% sRGB space literally doesn't fucking matter for watching animu, enjoy your bleed.

A facebook fucktard. Of course.

i want to nakadashi akarin

enjoy your white blacks

Get an UltraSharp IPS. Sure, they blacks are a little 'faded' but you will really enjoy the UltraSharp with any kind of media and wont notice it after the first few hours of use.. All IPS have their drawbacks, UltraSharp has the fewest I've seen and they are well worth their cost. The longevity of these IPSes outweighs anything else on the market.

>White blacks

I'm really happy with my LG 27UD69.
4k @ 27" with 6color hue/saturation balance, factory calibrated, nice uniformity and minimal bleed. Stand could be better but there is VESA mount pattern if you want.
Still cheaper than 1440p Ultrasharps. Dell is overpriced corporate office crap.

no, akarin is for protect

Love it for office work

they are all very much the same

NEC pa271q

You complain about thin bezels not being protective enough and not the whole face of the screen being virtually unprotected.

um that’s my monitor

Quattron

VA

Looks comfy

Backlight bleed has to be determined on a panel by panel basis, it's basically luck of the draw how bad it is.
