How do you get the thicc white bar?

there's some software that is out of date past the point where you would tolerate. So I like it less than fedora, but on the other hand I think the base system uses less ram, but that's probably just because of the old software, CentOS also uses less ram than fedora out of the box (tty).
Though I saved some space on my hard drive to try it and compare the battery life, if I remember right debian is the one that lasted the longest out of the two
