I remember how fast I could text on a physical landscape QWERTY. I could juggle 3 girls at the same time... often sending the same message to all of them at the same time due to their responses being so predictable.

Physical keyboard, removable battery, no notch, using something linux based instead of bloatdroid.
Personally I've given up, I use a flip phone and if I need it a pocket pc.

Because the tasks that 99% of the people do on their phones work perfectly fine with the way smartphones are right now. If you need to actually type something meaningful you need a notebook.
