sleepy desu
i never really tried cutting desu, but i tend to hit and scratch myself if im really frustrated over something, because it doesnt leave any marks unlike cutting and gets the job done just as well desu

I got the hang of beating myself up too but now i just hit things so i don't hurt anyone near me. Were you the Russian who posted when i linked my chapter in suebi's thread some days ago?

And how are you?

It was pretty good desu, although im not a huge fan of autobiographies myself (and even less of literary critic)

b-but you dropped?

It's not a fully autobiographical work desu. Aside from the teachers and the school system there's nearly nothing real~
Do you read fiction?

I don't take it excessively anymore

I'm a little worn out due to lack of sleep but I'll get by fine and hopefully with this harsh rain the bus won't come~

not fucking fair desu

I havent been reading books lately, but before that i mainly used to read mystery/romance novels ( a la Balzac etc) desu
Nowadays i usually read russian "creepypasta" resources, so i guess that counts as yes

Oh my didn't expect you to be acquainted with Honorè de Balzac! I've taken a liking to romantic period novels lately and I've been hopping from author to author since my mood is screwed up. Have you read any other major historical French authors like Voltaire or Stendhal?

Attached: Rozen.Maiden.full.6415.jpg (780x886, 203K)

have you read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

My Youtube channel is still named Modeste Mignon ever since i made it and up to this day lole.
>Have you read any other major historical French authors like Voltaire or Stendhal?
Mmmm, no, not those ones, and i dont think any other major ones either (or at least cant remember any from the top of my head). I did read De Sade though, and some other french writer whos name i cant remember now, who wrote some adventure novels about colonists in New Guinea (?), but it was fairly long ago when i was a kid desu.
Nope, but i`ve seen the film desu

Welp, there's so much in the sea of French literature and plenty of reads i left unfinished. I think I'll soon be in the mood to pick up The Count of Monte Cristo from where I left off but atm I've been reading Shelley's Frankenstein out of sheer curiosity.
>tfw I need to attend another Russian class

Attached: 600x600.jpg (600x600, 55K)

I was inclined to pick up Baudelaire for some time desu, not sure when im going to be in my reading mood next time though.
>I think I'll soon be in the mood to pick up The Count of Monte Cristo from where I left off
It is pretty lengthy desu, isnt it
>but atm I've been reading Shelley's Frankenstein out of sheer curiosity.
Never read that. Is it any good?
>tfw I need to attend another Russian class
Talking about that, Chekhov is a pretty good writer desu, definitely one of my favorites (although if you try to read him in russian, you`ll probably stumble upon a bunch of anachronisms desu).

I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A MOVIE?????!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!!

Do you at least have an umbrella? I have alot of trouble falling asleep too, il what you mean

>It is pretty lengthy desu, isnt it
It's written fairly well for a 200 + y o novel and Dumas' style isn't as needlessly intricate as Dickens and other English victorian authors but I guess with a translation you never know if it's linguistically complex or not.
>Never read that. Is it any good?
Yeh more or less, the doctor's backstory struck me but the pacing is kinda too quick. I expected the creature would have appeared in the middle of the novel but no, it has already turned up on chapter 6.

>Talking about that, Chekhov is a pretty good writer desu, definitely one of my favorites (although if you try to read him in russian, you`ll probably stumble upon a bunch of anachronisms desu).
I'm torn between waiting to get a solid grasp of russian and reading English translations but my I'm not so sure I'll be able to master the language in less than 5 years.

>Do you at least have an umbrella? I have alot of trouble falling asleep too, il what you mean
Of course this time I'm not forgetting it on the train desu
