Don't forget to use proper technique.

my favorite

Really helps relieve that forward head position.

Doing it again, this time according to template:
>Background:
used to game much, now much more typing, media creation and editing, primarily a typing instrument than gaming input these days
>Nice to have features:
regular backlight, media buttons, volume knob, USB port(s) on keyboard

>Budget
150€
>Location (continent at least)
continental europe
>Preferred switch type
experience with silent brown cherry, but open to new suggestions based on
>Layout
QWERTZ
>Form factor
100% or 80% Numpad required
>Previous/current keyboards
Logitech G710+ (non-standard key caps keep breaking, fuck this shit) so no non-standard keys

Attached: g710.jpg (1500x774, 544K)

What do you guys think of vertical mice? Got this one recently and its a dream. It feels much more natural and I can use it as a BT, wireless or wired mouse. Also, the button on top lets me change mouse sensitivity on the fly.

Attached: Logitech-MX-Vertical.jpg (780x520, 19K)

So that's how you're supposed to use them. Guess this guy was a tard the whole time.

HHKB

Leave my Microsoft 600 alone!

Attached: 378538-160332-800.jpg (800x441, 44K)

I too am a connoisseur of cheap keyboards.

Attached: k120_1.jpg (992x558, 85K)

I've got a chink wired vertical, took me a while to get used to

Tbh regular mice feel more natural

>his fancy shmancy keyboard doesn't even have a calculator button

But it does?

Attached: DK9008_Shine3_12[1].jpg (750x618, 252K)

>his keyboard doesn't have a built in calculator

Attached: Varmilo Calc Keyboard.png (685x457, 219K)

Now THAT is ingenuity.

now you can wagie even faster!

Isn't 80% TKL

I got one from ali for a tenner and have been using it for a couple of weeks
definitely better than a regular mouse

TKL just means that the ten key pad is missing. It is possible for an 80% keyboard to have a number pad like the cooler master Pro M

>QWERTZ
I assume you're in Germany, Caseking.de has ISO-DE variants of Ducky boards.

Is it wrong I type the fastest with the keyboard really elevated, like 10cm off the table? Obviously typing like this all day would kill my wrists but I can't seem to achieve the same speed with the normal position.

This is good info, thanks!

What do you do, click a blank spot on a form so what you type doesn't invade your OS?

Seems like a better solution to having a permanent hardware fixture is just to, I dunno, temporarily pin a calculator on your taskbar...

My Ducky one 2 tkl arrives today

Redpill me on superlube oil. I'm inclined to use it to lube my switches because I can get it locally, is it any good? It's going on V2 Zilents, if that matters.

PREMIUM ABS

Apparently it works fine if you don't want to pay out the ass for krytox. Haven't tried it myself as I use a 105/203 mixture.

hey dactyl maker guy, left you an email

Attached: dactyl.jpg (1280x960, 302K)

Not seein' it m8. In case I was retarded and typo'd my non throwaway email, try this [email protected]

Oh nevermind, just got caught in the spam folder kek.

One day I'll get off my ass and build this.

Blues masterrace

Deprecated now that clickbar switches exist.

What's the consensus on click bar (thick or otherwise) vs click leaf?

>click leaf
whats that? sounds interesting enough. what kind of switches come with click leafs?

Clicky Alps

oh those, well non of the clicky alps switches I got to try were all that great. if I had to pick one it would be the matias ones. blue alps are super smooth tho, but aren't really all that tactile. Maybe it's because I'm used to box navies

`Is PBT more resilient than ABS against UV light? Can I leave it near a sunny window for a few years without it turning it all yellow?

Everything I've ever heard says that PBT is impervious to UV yellowing.

PBT doesn't turn yellow. Take a look at this keyboard. All the keycaps, except for the spacebar, are made from PBT. But the alphas are still white, while the spacebar isn't

Attached: 20180509_171017.jpg (4032x2036, 445K)

Is that Windows? Christ that looks terrible on an amber display.

i love that thing but i still paid 200 euros for an hhkb what's wrong with me

Attached: 20190425_190146.jpg (5312x2988, 3.08M)

Was hoping for the blue keycaps. Ended up with pink

Attached: 20190425_205908.jpg (5312x2988, 3.02M)

when do the new HHKBs come out?

How do I get started if I don't have Swedish fingernails?

They've been really heavy with the pink caps lately

first build over the weekend, wish me luck lads. I'll try post some pics if I can be bothered.

>ABS tards will defend this

>full function keys
>no separate arrows

thats just how they come shipped in the box, i have another tray full of keys.

Why tho? These keys look slick.

Shine

What's bad about the gloss?

I see what you did there.

>esc right next to tab and backspace

Does KBDfans not have any sort of e-mail support? I don't have a kikebook for this messenger shit.

They have a contact page hidden on their site. I never got a reply, but I messaged them about my shit being late to ship, and it was shipped out the next day.

Attached: 3653232887661.png (222x241, 29K)

What's the appeal of hhkb? Aren't regular 60% like the pok3r more interesting?

you have to smash the white keys with your palms

once again you were right mkg, I bought a keeb with Gateron switches and they are way better than Cherry's

>paying for rubber domes

>285$ without switches or keycaps
>""""mid-range price"""""

Compared to what, that fucking Norbafag and his 1000$ Filco case? Compared to the Zeal jew and his outrageous 150$ PCB? Keyboard fags are fucknig delusional, I swear. At this point, you have a moral obligation to stick to cheap chink shit parts, just to discourage this other faggotry.

Attached: defendthis.png (1093x605, 423K)

I really don't care as long as I still get good quality parts for an acceptable price, hobbyist people are retarded and that's nothing new.

What's your favorite keyboard accessory? I'm interested in getting a nice wrist rest, anybody have any brands or materials for those that they particularly like?

Just pick whatever you think looks good. Don't actually use it, it's bad for your wrists: you should float your hands above the keyboard.

it's gay gamer shit but Glorious actually makes very comfy wrist rests

>it's bad for your wrists
First I've heard of that. [citation needed]

Then you're a retard. Somebody else will probably give you a citation because I'm lazy, but in the meantime explain why you think it should be good for your wrists.

Because the keyboards are too high off the desk.

this is repulsive.

Then get a better desk and a better chair

My Corsair gayming keyboard stopped working yesterday without any apparent reason. Just ordered a ducky one 2.

Are you sure it's not an easy fix like a decayed cable or something?

Will try to wipe clean it see if there is something wrong, worst case scenario I bring the Corsair with the cherry mx red to work.

>ducky one 2.

Honestly, you are better off.

Attached: 20190426_092208.jpg (2200x1238, 584K)

Are these real doubleshot or those shitty painted on keycaps?
If so, props to them for making that spacebar.

They are double shots. Not painted on. Looks laser etched.

Attached: 20190426_092144.jpg (2200x1238, 439K)

what's the weight of the tada?
500g or 1.3kg

>paying for keyswitches that fail

Attached: Image (22).jpg (132x141, 5K)

>Nice to have features:
>media buttons, volume knob, USB port(s) on keyboard
Seriously, this is Normie garbage that ruins real keyboards.
I think you could go to Mediamart or to Saturn and find five keyboards in your budget to do exactly this.

where are my tada boys

Excuse me what the fuck, that's KBD19X money

with which case?

>Background:
Keyboard for writing tons of code
>Nice to have features:
Bluetooth is a must because my work laptop has a single fucking USB post and it is used by a phone 99% of time (I'm an Android dev)
>Budget
$100-150
>Location (continent at least)
Russia. Would be nice if it can be bought from aliexpress
>Preferred switch type
cherry mx red/brown
>Layout
QWERTY
>Form factor
80% (or at least with Function keys)

I thought on buying TADA68 but then I noticed it doesn't have Fn keys.

Currently the cheapest and fucking keyboards are the maxell, I do not know what happened to this Japanese / Panamanian company that bring more and more expensive and shitty things that are not worth it

Attached: ID400MAX00.jpg (707x530, 62K)

plastic

can't help then, sorry mate

Tada has Fn keys

Yeah, but you probably need to press the F* key in addition to some other key. How am I supposed to debug the code by pressing two keys instead of one (which are probably far away from each other)?

This meme is like two years old and lasted for three threads

Not necessarily. You can have them as dedicated keys

Yeah, but then I won't have some other keys.

Sounds like you're just bad at your job, or you don't actually know how to type on a keyboard.

Wrong. Layers have been a thing since the 80s which is why 60% were used for programming long before you were born. The autists who thought they were more efficient eventually went on to become the core freetard community led by the most adamant 60% keyboard user of all time.

Vortex Race 3

Or you could recommend something instead of being a dick.
