What so it like choosing form over function?

I just tried plasma again today and it's pretty comfy desu. If they worked on the UX a little bit it could be the perfect DE. The settings and defaults are still a mess.

KDE is 10 years behind where they could have been, had they not lost their fucking minds at the end of the 3.5 cycle.
If they ever get close to being that good again, you can be sure another 10 year depression is around the corner.

B-but I am

I use Openbox. Cutest window manager.

buongiorno

Would be better if it wasn't one big dependent mess. Would be nice to have Dolphin and the image viewer/editor without the rest of the spyware

I'm waiting for KDE 6. KDE 5 is too ugly and no amount of theming can fix it.

Enjoy your stutter

Please tell me you’re ESL

How about no? Gnome is working fine for me.

I already have.

You know, I'm actually on XFCE myself. I know this desktop enviroment is supposed to be better, but you know what they say, old habbits, they die hard. Yeah, I know what you're thinking.I am an executive, I mean, why am I even running gnu/linux? Again, old habits..

nah ty, I'll stick with cinnamon

Didn't need to install it, it came preloaded on my laptop.

Replace kwin in KDE with i3 and get a nice panel and other DE features while maintaining the tiling you're used to. I do that, works fine with KDE and XFCE.
