What's the next great skill after "coding"?

>What's the next great skill after "coding"?
Now that every normie and retard can program, what is going to be the next skill or technology that will require someone with a brain?

Coding well

Koding

heh, well played

Algorithms and data structures, avoid side effects in your functions and make your code undestandable.

CS Majors on suicide watch.

Proper communications and people skills. Something 95% of programmers don't have.

fpbp

I don't get this shit. Programming is just learning the syntax of a language, it has nothing to do with problem solving skills.
>Why don't brainlets understand this ?

based retard

Okay shit head, come up with a non recursive pseudo-code of a red-black tree with insert, remove and lookup operations.
Pick any language you want to implement it. It won't make a jot fucking difference.
The fucking state absolute state of Jow Forums.

Actually learning and understanding the algorithms and when to use them.

Building up knowledge of libraries.

How's it feel that AI and pajeets will replace all your jobs in 5 years.

Do your own homework.

Exactly my point of starting this thread. Ai will literally take over programming within 10 years.

There are still as many actually good programmers as there have ever been. But now there are tons of retards with CS degrees running around that can't into fizzbuzz to save their life.
It's a phase and it will end eventually. Before CS it was business administration and god knows what poor field will be the next victim.
Wait 10 years and things will be back to business as usual with the retards gone because by then they will have been blacklisted in every big company and the small ones will all be bankrupt cause no one they hired to program could actually program.
If you can actually code wait it out, if you can't move on and ruin another field for a while.

When/If these brain-computer interfaces come out, they will probably take some decent skill to be fast/accurate with them. If it's only available via invasive brain implant, there will be a high premium for people that get that surgery.

Security is never going away either

Security is actually at a very big risk to get automated away. ML or even AI doesn't need sleep can react instantly, etc.
I am writing my Masters thesis about to simplify it using ML to predict and react accordingly to intrusion attempts, malware, etc.

Understanding how devices work CPU, GPU...
Some retards don't even know what ohms law is.

>Understanding how devices work CPU, GPU...
Try being in a (non CS but specialised) degree with retards that unironically ask what a CPU is.

There's more to security than logs/code being ran, although ML/AI is useless if I can whitelist whatever code I want to run. You'd just be changing what your weakest link is (which may or may not be better than what we have currently, IDK).

AI/ML will have to synthesize new knowledge to know what new attacks to defend against and it currently can't do that

>AI/ML will have to synthesize new knowledge to know what new attacks to defend against and it currently can't do that
That's literally the point of my thesis and there are already working prototypes of exactly that, in fact I work with a local security company on such a system for said thesis. And before you point it out of course these systems are far from perfect right now, but it's also very far away from useless. Can it react to everything fully automatically or literally predict every single attack vector used? Right now it can't, but honestly it's so good already I'd trust it with a normal blue team as backup to protect you far better than just a blue team.

i absolutely refuse to learn hardware info. i dont need to know any of that nerd shit to do my job

Software architecture. Scalable software and efficient and well designed code. This with communication skills is the key. Obviously not allĂ code monkeys has the abstraction to think in this way

Are you retraded?
>How CPUs work
>ask what a CPU is

Learn to read Nigger.
How is it possible that you plug in 12v in your computer but your cpu work, even it's only need 1.5V?

>t. HTML coder.

>Now that every normie and retard can program
even majority of CS grads cant do that (protip: solving shit on leetcode isnt something you do in real life), what delusion are you on mate?

>Are you retraded?
I think you are retarded user, what are you even trying to fucking say? At least learn proper English before you shit post pajeet.

Not being a web goblin.

>god knows what poor field will be the next victim
Science. There's a growing wave of retards that think they can do science by juggling calculations.

Name it Common Sense 2019.

>Science. There's a growing wave of retards that think they can do science by juggling calculations.
Well unlike CS they will fail cause everything besides Biology relies so much on maths and/or physics that they won't get past the first semester. There is no Java or Webdev for Chemistry let alone Maths or Physics. I could see retards taking over Biology though.

>Now that every normie and retard can program
Except they can't, if your standard is any higher than basic framework-based webdev.

>if your standard is any higher than basic framework-based webdev
So only a higher standard than most of the industry currently has?

Being paid mainly to write some code is not equal to being paid mainly to solve actual problems.
