$120,000 + medical + 401k contributions + bonus + something like 2-3% annual raise

I like that it's dealing with some of the latest tech, it's also a cushy job, 9-5

no food discounts at all

would rather be a slavic russian hacker

>Job:
IT Field service engineer (mostly EPOS and loss prevention systems for large retailers (installation, aftercare, break/fix)).
>Salary and benefits:
£28,000 + company car which i can use for personal use + fuel card

>What you like about your job:
Not sat behind a desk all day, working in new environments and meeting new people everyday

>What you don't like about your job:
Sometimes too much driving. unrealistic deadlines/expectations.

>What job you'd rather be doing?:
NEET

Job: I write PL/I and some mainframe assembler for a bank
Salary and Benefits: About $80k a year with full medical, 401(k) contributions, etc.
What you like about your job: Cushy for being just a 9-5
What you don't like: Actual work isn't that interesting and my skills for more mainstream programming are atrophying the longer I stay here
What job you'd rather be doing? Rather be working on some sort of embedded programming. Looking at going back and getting a masters so I can career pivot

>Job
Backend web developer
>Salary and benefits

Fuck marry kill enslave

>darkest girl is the hottest
Proof that interbreeding should be illegal.

the black chick from deadpool has a german father and a black mother and she is hot as fuck. mutt babies (unlike pure black babies or white babies) are disgusting though that is true, but no one cares about babies.

lynch lynch lynch lynch

Job: IT/helpdesk for a branch of a large conglomerate
Salary: 48k$, basic healthcare
Good: some users are happy when I fix things. I like problem solving.
Bad: responsibilities and expectations do not match job title, many users and expensive downtime with a confusing corporate layout and several other outside parties, with managers fighting over who I should answer too.
Rather: Sysadmin maybe? A bit more removed from basic user requests.

Sell, throw out, marry, sexually enslave.

North and east africans, who look the best, are the most mixed with the caucasian/arab people

Job: Backend Developer
Salary / Benefits: 50k, talk of Options and getting bought out and being in a superior position maybe potentially if we ever get our shit together.
Like: I have a SUBSTANTIAL influence on whether or not we, as a business, succeed or fail. Everything I do is appreciated and everything that is not appreciated is all-the-more influencing our success or failure.
Dislike: Not particularly caring about the whole "being paid way less than I could be" thing, all of my dislikes sum up to "it's a job."
Rather be doing: things that don't pay. Like working on my own shit.

Dental tech, I make false teeth. It doesn't pay very well but the benefits are nice. I like that I work with my hands and produce something to specification as a craft, by hand. I don't like when something happens where that specification is challenged (eg dentist fucked something up and making a proper crown is impossible without telling him he fucked up which I obviously cannot do).

I'd rather be doing anything that pays better.

fuck off CIA

>Job:

>What job you'd rather be doing?:
Nothing.

Be sure to put my dick size down as 8 inches, CIA.

desu the second one has the nicest body and face, it's just a shame about the colour.
Can't any heroic user use some photo editing magic here and make her a pale blonde girl?

literally fucked and don't know what to do for work.

The second one has the best face, the fourth has the best body, the third the best skin tone.

Woah, user. That's a lot for that. Sounds stressful to be honest.

$11/hr, no benefits
>What you like about your job:
Jack fucking shit
>What you don't like about your job:
Everyone and everything
>What job you'd rather be doing?:
Literally anything else. I'd rather be a fucking car mechanic than do this shit. My ideal job is some bullshit nobrain data entry job in an office on salary with health insurance and maybe a retirement plan. I'm only 21 so I gave time to make shit better but I already have a late start.

it is but I can't complain with the pay

It nice having NEET bux, but after my bills I have about 100 dollars left to play with for the month. I have some expensive hobbies is all I can say.

But you can do that now.

>Developer
>USD$85,000 + random cash bonuses (about 15% p/a so far) + equity + 4 weeks paid vacation + health insurance
>Pays well, somewhat interesting work
>Few experienced developers in the company. Swarmed by earnest but inexperienced grads. Codebase is a mess beyond repair
>More disciplined development on a smaller project in a different company

I get the feeling that if I ever change jobs I'll find out that I'm actually really dumb and bad at development.

I can't.
I'm too self conscious and have too many inhibitions .
But once you reach a certain age of seniority you stop caring what other people think. This is an observable fact.

man may I ask you a few questions?

1) which country are you from?
2) how did you end up getting this kind of job?

I'm asking because it's what I plan to do after graduating in CS, really interested in it

Nothing, if I could find a way I'd stay in academia forever

ok good luck

lots of reading datasheets and reference manuals but they are much more fun than standards (e.g. iso 14229)
its pretty fun trying to opimize stuff at that level
knowing some bit twiddling hacks are good
but at the end of the day you are at the bottom end of the shit barrel and everyone will blame you for stuff and push more work on you even though you're up to your elbows in shit already
i dont mean to discourage

It's OK, Hans. Your country will understand what it's like to have millions of shitskins draining welfare for their medical coverage soon enough. Then, you will be begging for the sweet release of healthcare privatization.
