Not a lot but I go on ragers once in a while. Few places are fun but I mostly go out into the steppe to camp with my friends. It's basically free real estate here. Great place to live if you're an outdoor person. It's fucking cold, great time of the year to go skiing. A bit smoggy but Mongolia is worth the fight.

We do. Not a lot. I work as a translator for a legal firm that helps out immigrant/foriegners/expats in the good ol Mongolei. A lot of Mongolians go to Poland to study and most never come back. That might be why you got a lot of Mongolians back there.

I don't know but coming from a biased perspective, probably not? He as in the Chanyu, right? I heard the guy was as metal as he sounds, there's a myth where he just starts killing unloyal people right and left. Might want to read up on that one.

What I mean is: I've heard that the Han (Chinese) Empire was actually almost a de facto vassal state to the Hunnu for the first several decades of its existence. Like that it was just militarily unable to stand up to the Hunnu at all, and a major part of its early emperors' policy involved appeasement and payment of tribute to the Hunnu (the emperor Wudi being the one to finally reverse that trend and establish the Han as more of a real "empire").
Also, is there any feeling of national revanche toward Inner Mongolia? How many ethnic Mongolians live "on the wrong side of the border" in China today?
