How much for a replica?
It's my wet dreams keyboard

Oh look, a keyboard literally no one on this board owns an original of.

you could have made it instead of this thread

I'm just asking a question you lazy SoCal resident

Don't even worry about replicas yet. The chinks are working on proper hall effect switches, so once there's mass-produced, cheap Chinese HE switches then I fucking guarantee you someone will make a proper space cadet clone rather than that stupid hipster GMK shit board for a bunch of faggots that don't even know what the original was used for and just want it for the novelty of the "weird layout".

I do a lot of work in LaTeX as I work in the medical field and we use a lot of mathematical notation on stuff like pharmacology reports, and the Greek alphabet comes up a lot as well, so even though I don't program in LISP, a REAL space cadet clone would dramatically increase my productivity (a hell of a lot more than the GMKshit. Turned around and sold mine for twice what I paid for it)

tl;dr wait for chink hall effect switches, cheap space cadet are sure to follow

Anyone know what this keyboard they stuck on the wall in starbug is? Looks like it has two numpads or something.

Why do you need a general for a keyboard. Nigga get a life

Are you sure that thing is even a keyboard?

I guess. El cheapo sci-fi from the 90s, so they stuck a couple of wierdass keyboards to the wall to make it look TECHNOLOGY. But I don't recognise what kind of board it is?

WHY IS POKER SOLD OUT ON CANDYKEYS REEEEEEEE

is there a 60% (poker like) kbd with gateron red?

Sorry user

Mechanical keyboard is a meme.
And nothing wrong with Cherry MX brown.

Who said brown switches were bad?

Some random tasteless Jow Forums.

Kbdfans tofu hhkb, gmk nautilus, 62g sakurios, lubed with 204g0, clipped lubed and bandaid modded stabs

>can't decide between blue and red
>only tried brown
Browns are alright, which one should I go for?

Do you like the clicky feeling?

i didn't want any additional resistence so i went red
also think if the noise won't eventually get to annoy you

Not that user, but also one that uses a KeyCool with browns and in the market for something else.

No, I don't particularly like nor understand the click. I always seem to hammer harder on the keys when I'm trying to get something done and have noticed that they give off quite a lot of finger fatigue as I tend to bottom them out no matter what the key.

Am now typing on a shitty Rapoo which looks like something they took straight from a laptop keyboard without modifications.

Ideally I'd like to find a keyboard that is flat in design. Has 84 keys like my old KeyCool and that I can opt to use over bluetooth / RF for those times that I want to use it wireless.

>lubed blacks

i wish i could get blue switches since they are my favourite, but my parents already want to tear out my spine from using red switches since they make noise
imagine how much they would want me dead if i used blue switches

Do you not have your own room or what?

>owns an original of
Even if you did, you wouldn't want to get your relic dirty with daily use.

hooktube.com/watch?v=3DR9fAQuOK8
i think you want his ms kbd

Very true. Every video I've seen of them, the person recording it doesn't even use it beyond pressing the keys a couple times

Imagine... Hall effect switches with metal click springs...

I just want to be able to use these as individual switches eventually. Who knows if that'll happen though.

>Just got a blue switch G80-3000 for £27 on ebay
Ah, my autism is back and stronger than ever

Why don't you just change your keyboard layout?

Where can I get aftermarket Cherry MX springs? Like 60g or 65g.

amazon
mechanicalkeyboards
flashquark
originativeco
aliexpress

>amazon
Are the YMDK springs any good? It says their margin of error is +/7g holy shit.
>mechkeys
>originative
>flashquark
Out of the weights I want

>Out of the weights I want
they have them tho

bleh. Actually I just found sprit sells them on ebay.

>It says their margin of error is +/7g holy shit.
That's more of a CYA measure to be honest.

Just got a new corsair k68 off of Walmart for $45, non rgb (only red backlight). Did i do good? Upgrading from an alienware aw568. It's my first time with cherry MX reds, I've only used cherry MX browns, kaihl blues, and outemo browns. The reds feel really easy to press, I like it.

Attached: 1555647549360.jpg (1280x720, 117K)

>corsair
I'm not gonna give you too much shit for it as it was only 45 bucks, but still.

Could've done worse really.

got a k63 brand new for 20 bucks and i think i overpaid for this

What could I get that would be better than my Shine 7? I don't want to have to build anything.

Would anyone buy a 2013 Blackwidow with Cherry Blues? Trying to dump a bunch of keyboards I never use and unsure what I should try to get for it.

>literaly nobody sells matias to mexico
jesus hell how the fuck am i supposed to restore my qt unitek?

Attached: txyWYC3.jpg (1600x1200, 265K)

It's still a Widow with genuine Cherries. That should help you out over the more modern repro switches. That being said, I gave away mine last year. You'll probably get like $35+shipping for it if it's in good shape.

i sold a tournament stealth and a regular blackwidow for 50 each, it really depends on who are you selling them to, i mostly sell them on mainstream gaymer groups on fb

ya love some big ass son?

Corsair keyboards look so damn ugly.
Even the chinks have a better sense of aesthetic.

>go to candy keys
>everything is sold out

is there an ortho board that i don't ha e to solder?

whats wrong with the default pbt caps on the hhkb??? what a waste of time

ergodoxEZ or hotdox

What brands or models

brown are shit entry level for people who did not do research and SETTLED. Their color is shit too. Weakest tactile, scratchy shit just like your butthole

Using red switches and already feeling like I'm beating on plastic and not the switch, how do people with 35g topre or lighter switches live with themselves?

its not an actual hhkb u fucking idiot

>beating
maybe they're made for a heavy hitter

>I do a lot of work in latex
Lewd. Is your employer abusing you?

That might just be the ugliest keyboard I've ever seen

Also this
>Drop
Rebrand is shit

Finished building a couple of days ago,I'm pretty pleased.

That's a shit taste you have here.

$100
roast my purchase
also how i can mod it and what should i expect (my first topre/clone keyboard)

Attached: niz 75 45g.jpg (800x593, 107K)

Looks great! Dome sheets are available on eBay (look for Hansung) and the niz website - I've heard that 65g feels the closest to 55g topre. You can also swap in bke redux domes, but this is pretty finicky as the domes come individually

You better have good switches inside

this is one of the best clones i found
but they arent identical to topres.
I didnt want to spend $300-500 on real topres so this was the next best thing, plus i find the membrane experience superior to all mechanical switches (except reds) so i think this one was a good choice since it has no tactility and sound really cool

i hate those with top row but that's me. otherwise i can't find a 60% available at this time. idk why kbdfans haven't tapped that market

I find 60% just doesnt reach the back of my prostate the same way a 65% one does, but thats just me

How do you guys deal with having so many keys?
Wouldn't it be easier to have everything right under your fingers at all times so you don't have to reach or move around?...

Attached: loliboard.png (3624x1208, 64K)

Yeah and holding two keys combination every time I want to hit a letter would help my typing speed a lot.

Yo my friend is moving out of his apt and gave me some electronics, including this number pad looking thing. Does anyone know what it is or if it has value?

It looks more gamer than ergonomic numbered. What is it?

Attached: 20190430_092154.jpg (4032x3024, 2.9M)

just throw it in the trash. it's a razer gayming pad

Is TXkeyboards ever going to restock TX60?

Or are they just doing big group buy orders?

Attached: keeblet.jpg (4268x2845, 2.02M)

scrape that vile shit up and eat it you pussy

nvm, they have one or two (at 160+usd)

It's not a numpad just a macro board, either you use it as a macro board or sell it.

which layout of the TOFU is with standard key caps (if any) - 1, 2 or 3 ?

What keyboard

Is the niz keyboard dot com site legit ?
Never seen a retailer do prices on par if not better then aliexpress, or am i just being paranoid ?

Plenty of retailers have their own site as well as an aliexpress page.

yeah, it says 2-3 or 3-5 days delivery.
Which seems pretty ridiculous since aliexpress says 3 weeks min + i live in australia of all places where people dont usually deliver

is that a space cadet lisp keyboard from the 1980s

guns make you look like a fucking pussy

Attached: 1556388675065.jpg (750x747, 67K)

no, but it is inspired by it
The actual keyboard is called Hyper 7 and the keycaps are 7bit round 7

No, but you can buy space cadet keycaps

Attached: GX1800 Space Cadet.jpg (4032x3024, 2.03M)

Games where you move with WASD and reload with R only require a couple of buttons, so these things were invented so you don't have to choose your keyboard according to games. I like them, it allows me to keep the keyboard centered so both my wrists are symmetrical while typing, and I still get to keep WASD more to the side like people do when gaming. I think the one in your picture is fairly expensive too, I just bought a cheap chinkshit one on Amazon or Ebay, I forgot which.

I am under the impression that I'm in the minority though. People don't seem to appreciate ergonomics as much as I assumed at one point. I think a cheap extra WASD is nice if you play games, of course it's useless if you don't.

Post more 1800 layout boards with high-profile caps

>macro board, either you use it as a macro board or sell it
Thank you. I dont game. is it worth much?

they're a hundred buck new. maybe you can get 40-60 for it. put it on ebay and find out.

But is it ABS?

K95 plat with cherry speed switchs is what I be running. It b good
