My awesome WM setup fucking sucks...can someone help me pls.

1.compton crashes on my antergos distro (googling this says it's antergos problem) what compositor should i use for transparency?

2.the title bar looks like ass (the default one) cam i hide it? Or at least change the buttons icons+make it smaller.

3.does polybar work with awesome? I couldn't find anything after googling it. Maybe I'm bad at googling stuff

4.so are widgets just things on the wibar? Or you can create desktop widgets like an app launcher or something like that.

Overall i like awesome because it's simple for my smol brain but doesn't look very customizable, maybe i should switch to i3 or sway

I lost my config.h, where is the slstatus mixer file? I tried a few sound card related files and none worked

it should be /dev/mixer1
i had to do some additional configuration using alsa, alternatively you can put
