My dudes.

im looking for a giant fucking full size keyboard
104 key layout, but with a fat ass chassis
like a model m, but cherry mx
im looking for a chunky bitch to take home tonight
anyone know of any?
market has so many tiny twink keyboards, i want a fucking monster

anyone know where i can pick one up?

Look through chyros' videos and find a vintage board you like.

How are mionix keycaps?

Two tone px4 looks nice
What's your opinion on it? I've heard lots of people think it's weird but I always thought it looked kinda neat?

It's my favorite one of all of these, no joke. Come to Jow Forums let's talk about it

Attached: just a keyboard.jpg (1333x2000, 586K)

to be... with plate... or not to be with plate? that is the question

not sure if anyone remembers, but i said i was gonna build this last week. finally got around to it this week, this was my first build and it was really fun.

Attached: keyboardfinished.jpg (901x676, 63K)

Just buy dz60 my friend
All I can really find about them is that they're cheap and thin ABS. Probably better off getting some cheap PBT set off aliexpress if you're on a budget.

that mobile style backspace makes me want to pull chunks of my brain out with an ice cream scoop

Anyone know of any bare TKL PCBs?
Would love to get a proper custom keyboard, not just GMMK, switches, and caps, I want custom housing, cable, as well as a """"custom"""" PCB.

it makes no sense to have a 1.5U backslash key. it's really easy to get used to the new layout. I mainly like it for aesthetic reasons though desu, the symmetry is nice.

you can be sort of right but only if you have capslock as backspace

Uneven bottom row? I thought only the gaymur brands such as razer and corsair do that, what pcb is this?
Nice build tho, what switches?

7u bottom row is symmetrical though?
DZ60 PCB, grey tofu case, alu plate, Tealios lubed with krytox 104, ePBT grayscale

I meant these bigass ctrl alt buttons and small super. Not every keycap set has them like this and... just who thought it was a good idea to make them differ from each other?

oh okay, I get what you mean. It's basically the only way to get a 7u spacebar on the keyboard. A lot of gmk and enjoyPBT sets come with 7u compatibility keys.

the second one is a really pretty gun

>mfw ordered from aliexpress with 20day postage instead of from the official site for $10 less and with 2 day postage
im such a fucking retard

Attached: tfw.jpg (1080x1080, 106K)

Looks nice, you plan on putting markings for the other layers? That's usually my problem with replacing keycaps for 60% boards, I just can't remember where shits are.

Do you guys have any suggestions for wrist-rests ? Have seen some wooden ones but not sure if they are good.
I have a 75% keyboard so i dont need a wide one, even a 65% rest should be fine

>mfw i did the same thing but with taobao
never again

Post switches.

Attached: clicky_switch.png (600x400, 69K)

Good clicky sound but the tactilily is shit, and it has no return at all.

Is it worth buying a PCB, switches, a case, and soldering everything just as a fun project? As long as there isn't a high risk of me fucking something up it seems like a nice project I can do during the summer.

There's a ton of soldering to be done but it's nothing hard as long as you're careful and follow the guide.

Sure, just know that unless you go high end or exotic it's much cheaper to buy a prebuilt and swap out the switches.

Buy a bare PCB and the electronics too, it's fun

it's what im doing because all sub 100$ 60%s are sold out

what kind of abomination of a unit is gfmm?

I've got a working but filthy a keycap less g80-3000 on the way from some dumpster diver on ebay

What's the best way to clean it completely and what are some good cheap key caps I can stick on it? I ordered some no brand pbt ones on ebay the same time I ordered the kb so I could use it as soon as I have it cleaned up

I'm a poorfag so poorfag orientated recs pls

Is there a site with more of such graphs?

The same one as Nm

This is a good guide

Chink PBTs are fine.

plot.ly has a bunch from the user haata

Look up ~haata
They have an entire site for them.

OH NO NO NO NO

Attached: 341AF0BD-D6E6-4CD5-A5E1-0E28E751E399.jpg (750x498, 270K)

She thicc

WOW
Another chink 1800 clone

does anyone have a cheap keycap set to recommend?

I mean, Massdrop is pretty chink.

This actually looks cool to me but I'll never buy a mass drop original or anything from mass drop again after the piece of shit modmic rip off I foolishly bought

What a f4ggotry. Please, don't post things like that!

Attached: .jpg (404x494, 59K)

>tfw you realize people are actually going to buy this from Assdrop

I'm all for more 1800 layout boards, but that looks like ass.

What do you think about keyboard meetups?

Attached: FpmcFm2.jpg (1815x1210, 666K)

About the only way to try these niche boards IRL without actually buying them.

i may have found a cheap one but idk if it can be recommended

what would happen if you lube gat reds

you die

from orgasm?

The amazing smoothness with one key stroke breaks the keyboard from the inside and creates a space-time rift.

They're all a few thousand miles away so nothing

Indeed my neighbor’s house was swallowed by an inter dimensional rift after they tried to live Gateron reds.

What keyboard pisses you off the most?

Attached: 1498422503095.png (872x632, 190K)

Anything with an artisan

anything less than 75%
any artisian caps
any blank caps

But blank caps are great.

sounds like you're just butt hurt from all the steno-chads you typelet

Any keyboard that doesn’t weigh at least 8 pounds and is smaller than a navless

any keyboard over 50 dollars.
That said i haven't ever bought any keyboard over 30 bucks
My last buy was this k63 i got brand new for 20 bucks

Attached: IMG_0153.jpg (3072x2304, 1.67M)

artisan caps
40%
japanese characters

>massdrop

based

So I bought a cheap ass blue switch keyboard, and I like it more than my HyperX with Cherry MX Red switches. I like the tactile feel and the feedback of a keypress. Is it noticeable the difference between a Kailh blue switch against a Cherry MX or I shouldn't care on getting another one?

stay away from click jacket switches, get some clickbars instead

Are Unicomp Model M's worth the money? I can't afford to get on the new Model F train, so I'm wondering if I should get a Unicomp M or if I should scour eBay for used IBMs or Lexmarks/

Sure, they're not terribly expensive anyway.

I wish there were some in my area.

Depends on what you want. Some people want a windows key so they get the Unicomp Model Ms.

That is the ugliest looking keyboard I have seen in my life. I think the fucking acrylic keebs with sandwich cases looks better than that.

Those are ugly cherry boards at best

Got too many tkl style keebs and thinking of selling this...

How much do you rhink I can get for it?

USB C, full alu

Attached: BL5GL3V.jpg (1864x1589, 537K)

about three fiddy

ok listen here you little shit...

Opinions on Silent Reds vs Silent Blacks?

Light mush or stiff mush

Ah, it arrived while I was at work and its more reclaimed looking and fucking disgusting than i could imagine

Attached: Board.jpg (3988x1640, 667K)

Get some Dolch colorway keycaps

Attached: G80-3000 Doclh Pac.jpg (3264x2448, 2.93M)

Looking for linear non-tactile non clicky switch that has
5-10g higher actuation force than MX Red
Feels as smooth as old MX blacks because fuck that sandy, scratchy feeling on reds
Plate mounted

Gateron blacks

I hope you get along well with Asians.

Gat yellow

Maybe 80% of what it cost you in total (give or take).

well fuck
halp?

The yellows are a sort of in between weight between reds and blacks. So if that sounds appealing go for it.

Gateron yellow have almost the same weighting as reds
gateron blacks are lighter then cherry blacks so get gateron blacks

how about scratchy / rattly feel?
about how much ?

you can just look up haatas force curves you know

Attached: Reds vs Yellows vs Blacks.png (3500x825, 166K)

I do like some spooning though..

Poorfag.

Where is the one nearest to Portland?

Attached: NKRO MX Brown.jpg (2400x1600, 1.19M)

also, are those mx red speed edition?. 1.4mm actuation point seems off

Can I mix up Varmilo and Leopold keys? They are the same profile from what I've read.
Does that mean the key has the exact same mold?

Attached: large_VA68MgS_1.jpg (1200x493, 62K)

Looking to essentially make my keyboard wireless.

Are there any 2 piece micro usb transmitter/receivers I can use? Like one plugs into my keyboard and the other into my computer.

I feel like there's an appropriate name for this but it's lost on me right now.

Attached: bubba.gif (278x208, 1.94M)

there are a couple one by handheld scientific. but don't forget the battery user

Recommend me a cheaper TKL or 84 keyboard. Something decent looking, no gaymen meme lights please.

I was looking at aliexpress.com/item/Keycool-84-mini-mechanical-keyboard-cherry-mx-clear-switch-brown-PBT-keycap-mini84-compact-game-keyboard/32876634360.html a few months back but decided not to and the price has gone up since then, and now I don’t feel like it’s worth it anymore. Thoughts?
