1tb ssd are $100 now

>1tb ssd are $100 now.
What the absolute fuck. And Apple retards still charge 500 for the 1tb upgrade meanwhile i put a 2tb in my thinkpad for $200

>250GB SSDs are ~$80 on my POS country
Sucks to be brown

Looks like the samsung QVO, I copped one for like £100 on amazon, still not sub £100 but getting there.

Would like to see m.2 drives become cheaper though.

>282 people bought a china usb stick that loses every bit after 1GB got stored on it in a cheap plastic mold fake case

lmao

Kind of hard to drop the price when it is a sunk cost on motherboards they made two years ago. This is why apples hardware model fucking blows.

They can still be found that cheap during sales. This is sub-100 USD

Where have I heard that name before?

>All this QLC shilling lately
please kys yourselves

Until a few months ago, most brands cost even more than that here in the UK.

Maybe prices will drop for you or you could import?

>qlc
1TB /dev/null

Polandball?

and 6TB HDDs are $125 USD where I am, wew.

Friendly reminder that SSDs will never displace HDDs until they match or beat them on price per terabyte. When you can get 3TB SSDs for like 70 USD then they'll have a chance at taking over.

Except that once 3TB of SSD costs $70 USD, HDDs will be 20TB for the same price.

>shitty used dirty sata ssd costs less than a soldered pci-e god of performance ssd
Shocking, I know

You use both dummy.

>QLC
might as well put your data on an sd card

SSD have too low cold store time

But Jow Forums told me that one is shit.

ripoff price

But SSDs will never truly replace HDDs because they have massive flaw relating to cold storage.

Electrons skiddadle the fuck out of there after a good long time. More bits per cell, more voltage states. Less electrons, less voltage per cell. You need to constantly check cells to make sure the bits don't flip due to voltage leaking out.

NAND QLC+ that is

>buying QLC NAND
>buying QLC NAND for almost the same price as TLC

Bernd is a common German name, pedo.

Stupid meme

I paid ~200 in my local currency for a 120GB WD SSD. I make 650 for part time and I pay for college. for comparison a PS4 around here is like 1500

>meanwhile ram prices are still higher priced than 3 years before

Hey, I just want some cheap drives to put backups on. Tape drives are too expensive, and HDDs do the job just fine for me.
