I already have. I was annoyed that the default spectacle launcher (print screen binding) didn't respect my color scheme so I hacked it to use a custom one instead which just calls /usr/bin/spectacle and that works. Also annoyed that emacs changed fonts for some reason. No real complaints besides that, just another upgrade.

Linux kernel 5.0.9 - first fedora distribution with series 5 kernel
Gnome 3.32 - much faster implementation and fewer bugs

>10 secs
Only in a quantum computer.

10? why not 1?

>Chinese botnet
>thanks but no

why are you still on 5.0.9 when 5.0.10 is out user?

not with THAT de i don't!

>muh gahnome
Just install any other DE faggot and stop complaining
>b..but KDE doesn't work well on Fedora
Then use a DE that doesn't suck dick like Mate or Xfce

With my SSD that should be possible, I'll do it user

bitch what? 29 is on 5.0.9 even

Why do you even install Fedora Workstation? Just use the server installer and install whatever de you want.

>intel 2nd gen
How are you running Debian on an 8008?

I'm considering to switch back to fagOS after spending the last couple of days trying to get Fedora to work on my FagBook Pro.

>use Fedora 29 KDE for months without problems
>get new SSD, need to reinstall the system
>Fedora 30 comes out, get the F30 KDE Live iso
>crashes. crashes. crashes. crashes.
>try F30 GNOME. Works perfectly. GNOME sucks.
>go back to F29 KDE, literally zero problems installing and setting up.
>spend hours getting all settings just the way I want
>close laptop lid
>open laptop lid
>no display, but the system is there (volume keys and kbd brightness work, display brightness doesn't)
>force shutdown
>reboot
>get to login screen, login
>same issue
>posting this from the Live environment
Tell me how can I fix this? I don't want to install and configure everything again.

>System dick
>Red Hat's bitch boy, who are the system dick overlords
>Slow overall, uses more RAM of the same DE's than other distros due to bloat
>Name is too silly to take seriously

bitch what?

No thanks, I don't like the wallpaper

Frankly the only valid argument so far, every other reason is you being a little bitch.
>I don't like systemd
>Gnome is slow
You can't see any of those things unlike the wallpaper.

Fedora removed the Deepin Store, which everyone said was botnet anyway. Still no ISO though. You have to do a minimal install then install the DE and Xorg on top.

Upgrading 29 to 30 and holy shit, it's the slowest update process ever. Half an hour in and it's still at 600/3300.

Wow, finally a 1000! Reinstalling the whole OS and configuring it would be faster.

That's strange. I use Fedora SilverBlue and the rebase from 29 to 30 took a few minutes. Are you stuck downloading the packages or in the upgrade part? Also consider trying SilverBlue where they no longer require sitting at the boot screen to upgrade safely.

Upgrade part. How stable is SilverBlue, user? I will probably try it soon.
1144 packages so far, by the way.

Time to upgrade your Pentium 4.

It's 8300H.

It's solid at this point (29 was not solid). The only bug I encounter at version 30 is that Dejavu backups don't work. As long as you don't require Dejavu, you're golden.
