RCA to whatever inputs you have on the back of the speaker is fine, whether it be xlr or 1/4 inch. There is no sound difference and you dont get any of the benefits of xlr unless if the source is also xlr. RCA will be fine as long as the cable runs are under 10 feet and isn't ran with a bunch of other cabling for other stuff

but hd660s is extremely overpriced. the old ad1000x completely destroys it on sound quality, while also being substantially cheaper, more comfortable, easier to drive and made in japan. and that's just the first example that comes to mind, there are probably many other options. hd600 series is just not worth more than 200$.
