Are they going to switch to Chromium?

Are they going to switch to Chromium?
Mozilla's incompetence is dangerous at this point.

I hope not, they can't.
> chromium = botnet.

nha, the tor browser is heavily modded and you can't just switch to another browser, that said
mozilla did fuck up. Maybe going forward the tor project will change the addon signing system.

Is this affecting Tor Browser?

haha just realized this fucks over tor too. what a shitshow

Works on my machine, but firefox is still fucked.

I get this when I try to connect, which i guess is a better result than it appearing to work but no addons.

>Tor Browser devs haven't disable add-on signing
it's not just mozilla incompetence that is dangerous

It doesn't.
They did.

not according to tor users they didn't
there are multiple reports of addons all being disabled

For tor browser? Bullshit.
If you installed other addons against recommendations of tor project or fucked around with prefs.js, it's your fault.

you literally have a screenshot of one of the addons that users are reporting that is getting disable.

You know you can test for yourself instead of relying on some retard's screens on gee?

Ok, I tried to for myself...

Friendly reminder that Brave has Tor on Tabs

it*

TOR is compromised?

What happened? Can anyone explain it to me or link an article?

Well that's horrible, although it works for me.

See

some diversity hire forgot to renew certificate for addon signing so all addons stopped working and were remotely disable for all firefox users

the diversity hire was a former google employee btw

Some security certificate Firefox uses as part of the add-on verification process was set to expire and apparently nobody at Mozilla noticed.

>It doesn't.
Fresh install user.

Yeah I was wrong I guess.
gitweb.torproject.org/tor-browser.git/tree/browser/app/profile/firefox.js
Still works for me though

Imagine getting in touch with somebody, you both agreed to use TOR.
...in the chat...
>do you use tor for this session?
>why yes! i do!
Still: both get busted because one of them used the leaking brave tor, which made them noth get shrekd be le.

Brave is a twisted and sly honey pot.

Opera 9.62

they should use something small and maintainable, like surf or uzbl

Interesting, so Mozilla authentication servers are having issues means you can't connect. Therefore you have to be in Mozilla logs before "anonymity".

They should switch to NetSurf

That's FF ESR so no.
