I was letting my mother use my computer (yes I know) when this went down. Somehow she figured out how to remove my addons completely, thinking she was helping.
based, was starting FF with a wrapper to make it think we're still yesterday (without changing system clock), but guess no need to mess up the dates further
Well goodbye internet imaginary friends. I should have taken the fact that my internet got shut off today as a sign, but I didnt. I paid my bill like I should have and all of a sudden the "safe" browser goes to shit.
It happened with early p2p (napster, kazaa, FTP, usenet, etc), it happened with dedicated networks (DC+, early bittorent and to some extent usenet in the later years).Now its just a shitshow. I cant turn a corner without noticing and obvious spam link. We can, on Jow Forums get around them because we know better the vast majority of people dont know and they are the ones that feed the downfall of the internet.
The mobo of her computer died, I'm waiting for a replacement board, but it won't be here until Monday. So I didn't see the harm in letting her use mine while I was out.

Is this about:config?filter=xpinstall.signatures.required ? If so, it also seems to work in Firefox ESR 60. Firefox complains in the addon page but the addons work.
