How could one certificate take down the entire add-on system?
This is obviously an inside job, but what are the motives?
1. The "fix" for the problem is deployed by studies, a program that allows Mozilla to run experiments on users as well as collect tons of juicey user data that would be worth a lot to advertisers.
2. Mozilla is planning on removing support for all add-ons is order to curb ad blocking, or to implement their own ad blocker which selectively blocks sites that refuse to pay bribes.
3. Brave and Chrome shills backed by government spies managed to infiltrate Mozilla's main servers and sabataged add-ons as part of their war on the open internet.

I don't really use too much stuff.

For Windows:
>Debloating tool (Ultimate Windows Tweaker/ShutUp10/whatever
>K-Lite Codec Pack
>Opera beta
>paint.net
>7-Zip
>Rufus
>youtube-dl
>Oracle Java 8
For GNU/Linux:
>mpv
>youtube-dl
>LibreOffice
>Oracle Java 8 or OpenJDK 8
I'm at a loss for a browser, though. Chrome's logo triggers my tismo and Firefox just an hero'd. And I don't feel like trying a zillion forks that are based on old code

I think programmers who works for Mozilla are plotting to deploy fucked up add-ons.

Why the fuck would anyone recommend Firefox anymore?

If you're not a lamer, you already fixed the bug, without having to activate telemetry and shit like that.

Firefox
mpv
Audacious
Nomacs
Thunar
KolourPaint

Privacy and ease of use/better UI.

is there such thing as vsftp? or just vsftpd?

I think their objective is killing the users of addons to make firefox a more normie addonless browser to finally switch to chrominium. and they think they are gonna get more users like that... oy vey

Thanks, I'm trying the online version of this and it's so much fun. I'm a bit basic and can't figure out if this can be installed on W10 though.
