There's no way for anyone to confidently assess whether information is "false" by "intention". The moment you even allow that idea into the room, you'll have whatever ideology or block of ideologies that are the most powerful silencing dissenting views. The whole point of values like "freedom of speech", "freedom of the press" is precisely to uphold the right of the MINORITY opinion, or the opinion that may well be false, or may well easily be accused of being motivated by dishonesty or "evil", to be expressed and evaluated freely.

The issue with this is that there would need to be a system in place to determine what should be considered intentional disinformation. That's the issue at the moment. We have "reputable" MSM news sources writing articles with the least amount of fact-checking ever who constantly spread disinformation throughout our society.

If a ban on intentional disinformation were to be in put in place, I guarantee the last sources to fall under scrutiny for such allegations would be those most responsible for it in the first place. It would be used to silence and oppress groups who oppose the power structure in place in the US, nothing more.

Twitter is by far the best platform for him. The whole reason it is so effective is that there is a much larger demographics of users who oppose his politics on Twitter so his tweets are able to reach those who otherwise would never be exposed to him otherwise.
