imo all of them are shit.
on linux I use kdevelop+cmake
on windows I use visual studio+cmake
the only reason I use an IDE is for the debugger really otherwise I'd use some text editor.

vim

visual studio has the best debugger by far.

Buy an edu account from ebay then get all of JetBrain products for free.

t.I did that

Geany is very comfy on linux

Eclipse CDT is serviceable and works with GDB

>using an ide

Qt Creator

Unironically Qt Creator
CLion is fine but slow

nano + gcc

emacs + icc (parallel studio is free with a .edu email)

which university is it

t. interested in doing that

this

Visual Studio by itself is crap but with addons it's the best I know. Yeah sure vim this vim that emacs this emacs that, I don't want to spend all that time learning those things

The best addons I use are Visual Assist, vim for VS and Incredibuild

Microsoft Visual Studio.

Just buy the account. As long as it's edu it's valid

Qtcreator is pretty good and cross-platform.

CodeLite

Your opinion is worthless.

VS community edition

I graduated years ago and still use my jetbrains license.

vim, ctags, and gdb with a sane config
