How much you pay in absolute terms is meaningless. The correct metric to measure is what percentage of your income you pay, in which case the U.S will come up on top.

USA

$95/month after taxes and fees ($79.99/month before)

Includes TV, Phone, and gigabit internet.

Attached: 8235163323.png (350x200, 21K)

uh ok

Actually nordic countries will come on top, their GNI per capita is higher.

>Viçosa
What a shithole
I pay $20 on mine too.

Do you enjoy calling your ISP once a week?

Lol 20$ in Brazil is luke 2000$ in the rest of the world

The fact that 100/100 is like 50$ in good parts of the states and 1000/1000 is only double that at 100$ is cool but not all of the states gets that

I know a guy in Russia who gets 100/100 for 8usd

Bout to get 40/20 for like 45usd

All I care about is ping thou and a reliable 15up for twitch band with is becoming less relevant

>$120
tell me this is at least in canadian dollars

Attached: 1319398941712.jpg (407x286, 12K)

Yes

89.30 USD
79.85 Euro
68.02 GBP

*bandwidth is becoming less relevant once you over 40/20 reliability and ping become more important due to streaming 4k will never go over 40 and uploading 1080p will never go over 20

>Lol 20$ in Brazil is luke 2000$ in the rest of the world
Cry more from your land of the free cattle
I pay 25USD, or

Attached: 8235176114.png (350x200, 20K)

Move in with 4 or 5 heavy internet users and you'll be screaming for at least 300/100

Ya and where you live 25usd is 3months of fulltime work

If you care about reliability and ping you will have your own line in the house dumb cunt

Fuck off, I have gigabit internet and a good pfsense router, there is no need to fuck with my own connection because i'm not retarded.

speedtest.net/global-index
Look at global fixed broadband.

Brazil is 64th place, not exactly a mecca of internet.

I'd tell you to go watch cuck porn you guys enjoy so much but it'd take too long to load

Yes, but being a continent sized country we have regions comparable to Somalia(most) and some similar to fucking Switzerland, I fortunately in a not so shitty part of this shithole

Routing is literally what adds all latancy you dumb cunt having one share nothing will make your ping rock solid and not go up and down 33-+ms whole your friend downloads anime

Do you even like to win at games???

How are you getting so cucked by bell? I pay $100 a month for gigabit fibre up and down.

>Yes, but being a continent sized country we have regions comparable to Somalia(most) and some similar to fucking Switzerland, I fortunately in a not so shitty part of this shithole
same situation in the US

East coast has fantastic internet overall, most of the rest of the country outside metro areas gets fucked over by and large.

Not really, the server speed test choose matters a lot too. If they test from my ISP server I can get about 1-3ms over wifi, if they test using another server, the lowest I get is 22ms even on cable.

lmao you must have a shit router.

t. Cartel leaders 21year old son confirmed

british telecom currently @ £120 a quarter
investment, zero, network = 19th C.
'innovative britain' go anywhere, anywhere at all in europe but britain to get anything done. British government consists of idiots, illiterates, frauds.

Attached: bt.png (436x119, 13K)

yes routing adds latency, and a shit router adds far MORE latency, a good router is perfectly capable of dealing with 50 concurrent users all doing their own shit, without anyone having to wait on anyone else.

Anglosphere internet prices are fucking robbery. Can't believe Australians haven't glassed a telecom CEO yet.

I'm talking about game ping fluctuations not a autistic test website

>Yes, but being a continent sized country we have regions comparable to Somalia(most) and some similar to fucking Switzerland
This but unironically I wish we could get rid of the whole Northeast.

Attached: 07102457_29596_GDO.png (800x800, 516K)

>nothing will make your ping rock solid and not go up and down 33-+ms whole your friend downloads anime
uhhh, that's exactly what a good router is for... So it can handle all those packets without having to queue them stupidly.

A good pfsense setup will instantly forward game packets ahead of any downloads.

Wrong you just fat consumer and don't watch ping in games

10/10 mbits is included in my rent but i pay 10€/month extra to get 100/10

Attached: kuva.png (778x352, 33K)

I get 3ms ping in counter strike, when I'm torrenting at 80MB/s, that ping goes up to a whole 8-10ms.

I get 4ms on CS GO and I use wifi.

late night with ethernet I can get 1-2ms ping in CSGO, usually it's 3ms though.

>giving info about where i live, how much i pay, etc.
no thanks

every site you visit knows where you live

My town only got another provider around 2 years ago, a small regional company. Until then we only had ADSL2 up to 10/2mb. I'm all for small government but they actually helped breaking the monopoly by giving incentives to these local companies, as long as they provide quality service(which they forced by law)

I'm paying around $60 for AT&T fiber 1000/1000

yeah but it gets lost in the thousands of people going in the site, here the info would be shared with what, maybe 30 guys?

lmao, yeah with the country of origin, the ISP, and the price, they can narrow it down to ~100,000 people instead of millions.

You might as well just post your CC's and Social security number.

Agreed, everything north of Sao Paulo is the northeast, including Venezuela

Do you really think anyone here will try to find you just by knowing in which city you live? Stop being a schizo.

Not even the people who should care about you do , why would anyone else?

desu there's nothing worth keeping outside this area

Attached: file.png (800x800, 684K)

wew 3 replies and the posters counter didnt even move, nice cope guys we already got your info

lmao, i've been posting in these thread for literally 7+ years at this point, you're delusional and it's hilarious.

Take your meds.

I could give you my address up to my avenue and you would do nothing. Keep being a schizo.

Because Bell only installs fiber in newer developments here, if your house was built before 2005 in my city you will NEVER get fiber, they have committed only to fresh layout.

Painfully I also live 1 block from a substation so if they did do fiber to old locations I would have it almost instantly.

Thats cheap. Why are Americans meming again? I assume that this is uncapped right?

who even said something about going to your house? i just said collecting your info
?

Technically it has a 10tb soft cap, making at 10tb they look at your usage and try to determine if it's for a business use on a residential plan. If they determine you are hosting or some other commercial activity on the connection, they'll switch you over to a business plan (at 4x+ the monthly cost).

But if you're just downloading games and torrents and shit then even more than 10TB is fine, I've seen ppl hit 20-30tb in a month.

are your packets delivered by kangaroos

It's bullshit. That doesn't include the fees and equipment costs. Also after a couple of months they just start jacking up the prices on you.

OH NO NO NO NO NO NO
I bet most of Africa has better speeds than that.

down > up, also 10Mb/s is more than enough for me since I don't upload a lot.
> Oi
that's NET, mate.

Not everyone has a shit ISP, user.

USA
$61.95, ~$88 after taxes and fees.

>that's NET, mate.
People always say that NET is great. They do have plans with higher upload speeds, right?

>MG, RJ and DF
You lost me there m8

Just wait and see. These companies operate like cartels w/ you under their thumb.

~$95 mo total, taxes and all other associated bullshit.

Stop giving your money to shitty companies. Stop watching Vox and Huffpo; you aren't a victim, you can be pro-active and create options.

Attached: hargray.png (800x276, 27K)

DF is a nice city (I know you are memeing about politicians), RJ is only really bad on Rio de Janeiro and MG is fine up to the north, which is like the northeast in every single aspect.

USA $40/month

It's not great, but I have fiber to the house and I'm 7 miles from the nearest town of 750 people where the phone company is the ISP.

Attached: inet.jpg (682x219, 17K)

Not really. Once you take into account of per capita PPP vs Nominal, US usually pulls out on top.

This guy's Gigabit is $95 USD/m that comes with TV/Phone. Lets say TV/Phone are only worth 1/3 as much. So this puts the Gigabit at $65 USD(also ). That's normal for Centurylink's (another US) Gigabit provider.

Canada cuck here() pays $100 CAD per month for Gigabit. That's $75 USD converted. In principle this looks similar, but Canada's GDP PPP is 86% of their nominal. So what the guy's paying in value is actually similar to $86 USD / month and the difference between the US/Canadian Gigabit increase even further. Canada pays roughly 35% more for Gigabit once you calculate the cost of living but its only 15% higher if you only look into monetary conversion.

I was checking this thread and I don't see any Euroshitters posting their prices. So I can't make any conclusive case, but if you have a price for Euro Gigabit, by all means calculate it.

Australia, 70 Australian Dollar equals
49.15 United States Dollar /month, 50Gb cap

pic attached all I can get memes are real

wtf I thought your connections were shite because of physical limitations, not just a bad service

50/20
$79aud/mo
no data cap (that's half the cost desu)

Directional parabolic grid wifi extender

Weatherproof connector cable

Long range wifi network adapter

$175-ish

just signed up for 200/200 for $50 a month here in Southern California. Doesnt start till next month though

100/100
$11
ping fluctutions are always present

> (OP)
>just signed up for 200/200 for $50 a month here in Southern California
>$50 a month
>Southern California
So after taxes it's going to be about 120 or 150 a month, right?

nope, its $50 after taxes. it should be $39.99 since thats what its advertised as, but they charge an extra $10 to rent their modem. Even if you own your own modem they still charge you. theres plenty of threads online complaining. Its through Frontier Communications.

>Even if you own your own modem they still charge you
[X] DOUBT. That's fraud if they are doing it.

yeah trust me ive done the research. plenty of complaints have been filed to the FTC.

95/month for this.

Attached: speedtest.png (510x92, 12K)

>They do have plans with higher upload speeds, right?
yes

Go 0ms to the host or don't go at all.

This is likely the cheapest fibre plan, but I think I can only upgrade it up to 400Mbps down.

Attached: 8098034003.png (350x200, 20K)

If the bill says "Modem Rental Fee" and you've already returned the modem, then you can sue them in court. Literally, every single judge will side with you.

Australia is a country of shit monopolies.

Steve Irwin had a monopoly on crocodile hunters so his company bullied other croc hunters into either retiring or becoming his bitches.

$80
300GB hard data cap
Canada

Literal highway robbery.

Chile
$50

Attached: 8235300550.png (350x200, 20K)

I suspect ADSL isn't the bandwidth limiter in Australia, instead internet companies intentionally limit personal users at final connection level to save international transit fees. So domestic and local connections are fucked, like this speedtest. Pretty horrific.

Brazil
35 USD
No data cap
