A 2 bed bougie apartment is going to run you like 5 to 6k a month. You can split it with a roommate. If you're making 300k a year even after taxes, if you were to pay for the entire thing by yourself and have both rooms, you'd be paying around 30-40% which is typical for Americans paying rent. If you split the cost then you'd be paying well below what most americans pay for rent and well below the "financially sound" recommendation of 30%.

I actually recommend living in a leased/rented SUV instead of an RV. Much cheaper, your car looks normal and doesn't attract attention. You can shower at work or in a gym. Your cost is just around 400-500 for leased and 700-800 for rented.
