He should have picked a better case, like the CM N200. Yes it's double the price, but you shouldn't pain yourself to skimp on the case. Anything lower than $50 is not going to be a good investment.

Mine has an even larger vent and all it really does is push more dust up into the gpu
really my only qualm with this build though, pretty efficient setup for 1k

I don't know how effective this one might be, but because of its old design it also has a side panel (mobo side) vent, probably best as a high rpm (but as quiet as possible) intake

maybe they should follow up the video with different fan setups and thermal results
