I’m struggling

Damn, Jow Forums. I’m struggling. I’ve figured it all out but now nothing makes sense at all. Here is the situation:
In my possession I have
>recent MacBook
>recent iPad w/ Apple Pencil
>recent iPhone
>recent Apple Watch
>Microsoft Office
>Adobe Creative Suite
>Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One (plus a plethora of older consoles)
>smart TV
>literally every streaming service (Hulu, Netflix, Crunchyroll, Prime Video, AppleMusic, Spotify, etc.)

I could go on but you get the point. What was the point in all this shit? I feel like I have infinite resources but no means of using them. I could create, learn, listen or watch anything but I just don’t know how or what or why. It feels like I am failing to achieve.

What do? Anybody else know this struggle?

You have low IQ

...

I had this issue as well..
learn to tone it down. you can find everything for free if you want to.
The thing with this is that you actually have to put in the effort, so you'll think twice if it's worth before starting anything

Sell everything, mail the money to me.

>user realize materialism isn't the key to happiness, episode I

look for God

>>recent MacBook
Keep it

>recent iPad w/ Apple Pencil
If you don't have a creative hobby, get rid of it.

>recent iPhone
Keep it

>recent Apple Watch
Use it to get fit

>Microsoft Office
Keep it for work

>Adobe Creative Suite
Keep it if you can use it for hobby or job, otherwise get rid of it.

>Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One (plus a plethora of older consoles)
Keep only those you find it hard to get again

>smart TV
Get rid of it

>literally every streaming service (Hulu, Netflix, Crunchyroll, Prime Video, AppleMusic, Spotify, etc.)
Cancel everything, except one for music and one for TV.

Give everything that you do a purpose. If you are just wasting time and energy, ask yourself, what can you do that gives yourself a purpose. Just buy things that help you fulfill a purpose that you consider useful for you.

If you feel a void, find out what is missing, don't fill it with something that doesn't fill it permanently.

Work out.
Don't eat more than you are hungry for.
Learn something new.
Give yourself meaning.
Don't waste time.

let Jesus take the wheel

Unironically this. As you have probably realised by now, material possessions will obviously never truly make you feel good and satisfied with your life in the long run. Set yourself immaterial goals - A good start would be to get Jow Forums and develop a meaningful skill/hobby. Use all those money of yours to help you reach your immaterial desires instead of buying the newest tech for the sake of it. Every time you feel bored do something productive - learn a programming/foreign language, exercise, socialise - you name it. Use your money only as means for your goals.

none of these things are ever yours, you borrow them

Just find something that you want to make. Even if it's stupid stuff the experience will be worthwhile.
Have some autistic fan theories about some shit franchise you want to share? Write a blogpost (on a blog you set up yourself) or make a video about it. Want to make a device that feeds cat treats to your kitty? Do it.
Only fools wait for inspiration to hit to do something. Throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.
Tools don't matter, just make shit.

You know what? You are right. I am going to start using these things even if the output is shit at first. Thanks!

You feel like you're failing to achieve because you are. Not that I know anything about how your working life is going on and what sort of sense of accomplishment you get from that.
Most people nowadays are consumers and don't have any kinds of hobbies or even any interests. They just blindly consume entertainment and play games to get a feeling of accomplishment and that's probably what's going on with you.
So figure out what you like and get some hobbies. Then get rid of all of that useless entertainment bullshit, except for music.
Creating stuff is hard and it's going to take some years to get hang of, but it's doable if you have the patience to keep at it.
You just have to figure out what you like and then keep at it and that about does it.

>except for music
No, music is the most useless.

Some actually psychological based advise:

Make as many close relationships as you can. Get a gf, get a close friends group, ... Being happy is simple actually. Many studies shows being happy is based on how many close and intimate relationships you have.

This is why Chad's are happy, the look good attract many people and girls and make many close relationships.

There you have it the key to happiness. You're welcome.

Factually incorrect.

The only use of music is playing it at social gatherings and thereby make it easier to celebrate with other people. For example marriages, singing at the church or just normal parties.
Listening music by yourself is just low iq consumer shit.

Stop buying Apple products. They're inherently useless.

Like alcohol. Basically the same.

Very based comment
Thanks user

Once again, factually incorrect. Stop listening to mainstream pop shit once in your life.

what the fuck, have you seriously never enjoyed a song alone? Never used it to alter your mood, or to better focus at work?

Stop shitposting and tell me the use of listing to music when you're by yourself instead.

Mood altering, appreciating genius songwriting, providing new insight into life. You're not going to understand what I mean, though, because you have only ever listened to radio shit.

Hone in your scope, and don't try to do too many things at once. You are probably just feeling good from purchasing material things, as you imagine all the grand possibilities you'll use that product for. But then you inevitably fall off your self-imposed learning/tinkering/game-completion schedule, after neurotically cramming on-and-off as much as you can in your first few days/weeks with that product or idea. The stress comes on again, and you look for that cool new technology to dabble in; you buy it and feel good again. It's a yoyo of endorphins. Break the cycle.

Is this you, OP? Because I was just describing my own issues. Dunno if pic entirely related. Form memorable experiences

I have no idea what the fuck is going on here

Of course I enjoyed it but I also enjoyed glutenous fast food or sugary sweets. Enjoying something is not the criteria if it is good or useful.
>Never used it to alter your mood, or to better focus at work?
It's always a distraction.

>>recent MacBook
Sell it. Throttles and overheats so much it repels you from using it.

>>recent iPad w/ Apple Pencil
Overheats and bends if you touch it, discouraging you from being creative.

>>recent iPhone
Lags and explodes if you try to use it, and drops your calls if you hold it wrong, also discouraging you from using it.

>>recent Apple Watch
Battery explodes and pops off the screen, likely to send you to the hospital for 3rd degree burns.

>>Microsoft Office
Literally the most widespread used office suite on the planet. If you send or recieve anything it's going to be in an office format.

>>Adobe Creative Suite
Industry standard, but if you aren't using it at all, no reason to pay the monthly sub.

>>Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One (plus a plethora of older consoles)
Emulate what you can, toss the rest.

>>smart TV
>>literally every streaming service (Hulu, Netflix, Crunchyroll, Prime Video, AppleMusic, Spotify, etc.)
Just surf until you find something interesting if you so desperately want to find a use for them. Otherwise cancel them all except Prime since it comes with other stuff.

Fast food and sweets might be enjoyable but they are also unhealthy. Music does not have negative effects on your health. If it helps me improve my mood during a bad day, it's useful to me.
There are various kinds of music that affect your brain is distinct ways. For example I find rhyrhmic electronic music like Kiasmos helps me focus on work a lot better, even though I might be dancing in the chair like a retard.

rebbit

>foreign language
I never really understood this advice. I speak 3 languages at pretty much native level. Learning a language you have no use for will not make you happy or accomplished, it will be nothing more than a tool you will never use. The only reason to learn a language is if you actually have some use for the language after you've learned it.

And here I thought the npc meme was just a joke jesus

You've never listened to good music or learned an instrument and obviously don't know any theory. You also more than likely have no idea what analog synthesizers are nor do you know anything about signal processing or harmonics. Because you don't know anything about music you have a huge gap in cultural/ historical knowledge. You also didn't tell him to throw away his videogame systems which probably indicates you play videogames or at least rank playing them above music. You also probably suck at physics and generally lack an aesthetic of any sophistication. Truly pathetic, or brilliant bait. Almost certainly the former.

It's almost like you can't buy happiness

>WAAAAAH WAAHHH MY LAYF HAS NOU MEANING WAAAAH
Why don't you move to Venezuela or some other 4th world hellhole like that, maybe you'll find the the meaning of life amongst all that suffering you fucking faggot.

fpbp

>even though I might be dancing in the chair like a retard
Yeah, that's the point, it's distracting. When I dance like a retard, I can't concentrate on work. You can dance on parties, that's why I said that this is a good place for music.
The pathetic one here is (you). I didn't criticise per se. Just listening it when you are alone. Listening it with other people is important and part of the human culture.

There's a lot of good suggestions, OP. If you review them and find you don't have an interest in those things, the only objectively correct solution is to kys.

>What do? Anybody else know this struggle?
What you have to do is realise that entertainment is a tool used to control you and you are overpaying it
