On Adamantcheese's, it takes like 5 seconds to load into the app and crossboarding still isn't fixed.

After clicking the search button when it is empty, just press back and it'll remove the filter without needing to put another letter and clearing it, or it does on my phone anyway.
Alternatively press the 3 dots on the post preview when searching and bookmark it from there, then close the search.
