This is Speccy. It's an application. If you used a real OS you might know what one was.
I don't use pajeetOS, since I'm not a manchild gamer. Go back to /v/.
So you're sitting there with nothing but a 768p laptop you do nothing but attempt to start Linux user circle-jerks with.
I envy you.
Spam, just spam, every fucking day spam.
I'm not talking about Android.
>4790
Kek what are you homeless?
Go upgrade that shit nigger
Haswell is stronk.
I guess i'll bite. Go ahead and scorn me for not buying AMD.
No need to upgrade yet
might as well repost
Enjoy that 28mm space heater.
My 4790 is 50W full load.
One day I'll upgrade socket.
And yet a vast amount of them managed to enjoy cooking themselves with single-slot coolers.
Are u in the fucking arctic? Thos temps are a bit dangerous. To
O low temps can make air condense on cpu and fuck it up. Keep a load allways on it or keep. Ur room dry allway
Pic related my laptop. Specs
>i5 6300HQ quad core hyperthreaded
>8Gb LPDDR3 ram
>940MX 2Gb GDDR5
You have no idea what you're talking about do you....
Are you dumb? Those temps aren't cold and unless he's using phase change, there's no breaking of thermodynamics going on to warrant a dew point sensor.
Over 3 years old, still performing well. Will upgrade in a year or two probably, in the meantime funds are going to a new server instead.
>940MX
Good lord, did you find that next to a T-rex skeleton?
my room's dry and it's usually about 20°C inside
>This much cope
Keep lying to yourself. You're literally living in 2012.
Intel lies about the TDP, that shits for base clocks @ 88W, full load will be much higher.
You're right, for some reason I ignored the 4790 in question and assumed it was an ATi 4790 lmao.
I mean. I bough it several years ago. Next pc will be 8 core 64Gb ram workstation for all my needs. Also powered by Debian or Arch
Well that escalated quickly.
Well shit...
I have been known to make mistakes this one time.
And ironically it's still beating a 2700X in 90% of every gaming benchmark. Stop being a dickhead.
>Tin of kippers
Holy shit I was not ready for that
Ou. Then chill. No condensation can be in place.
Maybe at 1080p.
But you're poor by not being able to afford 4k or at a minimum 1440p?
Join 2019, gramps. It's time.
You can't condense humidity on components higher than ambient anyway.
Ikr. But i need that kind of rig. Work n shit. Maybe small content creation.
Speccy fags BTFO
Yeap. Unless u cool down ur cpu to 10 or something degrees. Water condenses on cpu and it hurts more than heat.
You can do that with a 4790k retard
I can afford a lot of things.
You don't know what you're talking about.
You can't cool a processor below ambient temperature without phase-change cooling, TEC or an ice bath.
It's not possible unless you leave your computer outside overnight with the side panels open.
Lol enjoy being a cuck.
Imagine not having to upgrade for 5 years and still outperform a 2700x in gaming. Totally cucked for sure you dumb bastard.
Why are you using the 2700x as a performance metric?
Look at the i9-9900k or even the i7-8700k. No way your shitty 10 year old CPU beats those.
Now me personally, I kill everyone with specs in this thread.
t. Hackintosh + Wangblows dual boot. See pic related.
i9-9980XE
64GB RAM
Radeon VII
Not him, This is my rig. I wouldn't touch amd if my life depended on it.
My nigguh, that's a dank setup.
Also only reason I went with a Radeon VII instead of a 2080Ti is because I need macOS for development/design work...or else I'd use Wangblows full time.
Very understandable.
How do you like the 3200 @ CL15 Gskill?
I'm about to invest in 128GB DDR4 3600 CL17 GSKILL (Max GB Skylake-X supports)...Currently using older 2400 Ballistix Sport LT sticks :(
I can feel the hit especially in day to day operations.
Pretty good actually. I've gotten it up to 4000mhz with 16 cas latency with a voltage bump of 1.42v. With a quad channel system like you're running you can get that 3600 running 4ghz no problem. Of coarse with a bit looser timings and a 1.4v bump in voltage, It's going to be night and day for sure.
This is a totally safe voltage for day to day to so no worry about degradation.
Thanks anonbro. Gonna wait until it drops below $1,300 for the 128GB kit. Hopefully by November it'll be $800 so I can snag it.
I think you could buy good performing 64gbx2 for well under that price and it should work. At least 3200 cas 14. or even 3200x4 16 gb sticks. They're all the same man.
Na that's rediculous. Get 4 sets of 16GB 3200 cas ram. You're pretty much paying them to match which they already are the same spec. 3200 is about the best you can get, All they do is give them looser timings and give them an overvolt in XMP mode. You can save dramatically if you manually put the timings in yourself and see that their is absolutely no difference between 3200 and 4000mhz ram. This is coming from a 3200mhz user at 4000mhz stable.
samsung b die is samsung b die. Hardly any difference in quality after 3200
No I need 128GB. I max out 64GB already. Also Samsung B-Die is a plus.
This is my other option, but if I'm paying this much I'd rather go with a 3600 rated at CL17.
Forgot to mention now I realize you mean 4sets of unmatched pairs.
Usually it's better to get a kit to make sure it matches the tested speeds from the factory.
I just wish Skylake-X supported ECC, I'd be less worried about matching pairs from the same SKU.
I've done it a few times. If they're the same make and model, You shouldn't have any problem whatsoever. But you are talking about 8 sticks so the possibility for a bad ram stick goes up substantially unfortunately.
What system are you running again?
Yeah and it's problematic if there's a need to do a warranty exchange.
Also I've read that if you buy separate sticks but same SKU, it might have, for example Hynix RAM or Micron. It's just less problematic with a "kit".
If it wasn't an issue I would order 4x of 32GB here:
newegg.com
Total of $670 or some shit. Pretty good price. I was close to pulling the trigger then did some reading.
ASUS Prime Deluxe II
i9-9980XE
64GB (4x16GB) 2400 M/T Crucial Ballistix Sport LT
Radeon VII
1TB Samsung 970 Pro NVME
macOS 10.14.5 (Beta 3) + Windows 10 1809
If you want to be careful, Yeah i'd wait for sure. That's an expensive rig to go down if you were to have a problem with memory. You may be right to wait for prices. It's just the cheaper route to get 4x the same kit which will most likely work, but to be sure to keep your computer going stick with what you got.
kneel desktopfags
Is that the equivalent to windows vista?
>Speccy
try playing something that taxes ram for a change
fucking ramlets walking around like they own the place
nice mining card lmao
>nice mining card
That's just 2016 rig of the year he's got, is all.
4gb gtx 1080
where did you find that thing?
Speccy is a piece of shit when it comes to DDR4 CPUs and pascal cards, a 1080 has 8GB of RAM.
new radeon, seems the same as my 1080ti tbqh. more gigabytes tho. bought due to boredom.
you're the goodest goy in this thread
there's no intel in my build tho. if zen 2 disappoints i'll consider supporting israel and go 9900k.
>2700X instead of a 9900K that uses more energy for double the money
Yeah he's a real good goy alright...
pointless consumerism is the same with either brand, you're filling up the landfill because you're "bored"
Fuck that I never throw away stuff, I still have my Q6600 rig and I'm taking in another socket 775 rig with a P5N-E SLI board that a guy was gnna get rid of.
So you're just a hoarder.
Only of computers, my apartment is clean but both closets have some towers and motherboards and shit.
still hoarding.
based and redpilled (before it was cool) Tahiti bro
It's a problem but I try to not let it get extreme.
I am gonna pick up a few T420 thinkpads because they look awesome and my main laptop is still Penryn
>Intel HEDT (when it was good) and 7970
Nice, user.
thanks family, ramadan mubarak to you too
