Thunderbird

I lost trust in mozilla and want to stop using their products.
What's a good cross platform mail client I can use instead of thunderbird?

I could just use the respective browser integrations but it's annoying to manage multiple mail accounts one at a time.

I'd rather not use cygwin, but it looks decent at least.

Your browser

Claws-mail is overall a good, no-frills client that does pretty much everything you could want from a mail client, runs everywhere, and is much more lightweight than Thunderbird. You can't go wrong with it.

emacs

how about postbox its based on thunderbird but costs monies because its customized

Seamonkey

What do you use?

It's not: thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/67.0beta/releasenotes/
The latest beta release dates to less than two weeks ago. That's hardly a "dropped" project if you ask me.

Try postbox. Based on thunderbird, but with better support.

what about mailbird

Thunderbird has been split out into its own project and team but for all intents and purposes it's still with Mozilla
