I've had my HD600 for over a year now. Everything's been fine but the side of my head hurts terrible nowadays if I'm to wear them for 30~60min or more, even after I just woke up.

Anyone who's been through similar experiences? It's making my life hell since I work from home and often have to wear headphones, notably at night, to not bother my surroundings.
I was thinking of washing the pads first to see if that helped in any way.

What about AKGs? I heard they also have a rather neutral sound, but more warmer.
