Emsisoft + Sandboxie if you aren't complete braindead.
That, and ESET if otherwise.

Don't bother.
Just keep you computer fully updated, use the latest OS release, and run a decent scanner like mbam occasionally

i dont allow anyone else to connect their usb drives to my computer(s) and on top of that i always make sure to put a condom inside the port to make sure nothing weird gets inside

kaspersky file antivirus, unfortunately that's not possible to find anymore without all that other junk.

2nd best option is defender as most of it is always loaded anyway, just set options to disable all the shit except file antivirus and learn to scan manually as a hygiene

no-script + adblock, locked down browser etc. Antivirus is basically only needed when you need to idiot proof a system, otherwise common sense prevails. They are mostly just shitty bloatware these days, serving you ads for more bloatware and data-mining all the stuff they're meant to be protecting.
