for testing purpose, i installed android-x86 in a virtualbox vm and created an emulator instance with some shady emulators

just did a test, virtualbox take almost twice (2:50) the time needed for shady emulator (1:30) to boot

Don't be fucking retarded OP and read first. Android-x86 is a slugfest on VirtualBox due to the latter not having hardware acceleration.
Do yourself a fucking favor and install the android sdk with avd manager, there you can easily install a virtual device with KVM and GPU acceleration. You can also disable the botnet if I'm not mistaken.
vbox is alright; android is a hot pile of garbage when emulated though
I like KVM but VirtualBox has the sweet sweet drag 'n drop between guest/host, shared clipboard, & auto-mounted mapped drives for Winblows guests.

This, vbox does windows guests really well. Also sweet sweet 3D acceleration. QEMU really doesn't have shit on it.
You can do this on KVM/QEMU with SPICE
see Red Hat really wants in on the virtualization game, they have a Windows SPICE agent as well.

Can you show me drag and drop works? And last time I checked there's literally just no windows guest driver to enable shared folders like you can do between a linux host and guest. Clipboard does work, but the point about qemu having shit 3D acceleration remains.
