But that's not how you spell 14.

Again and again doesn't matter. Intel will be faster than Ayymd. AMD hasn't been faster since 2003. LOL

Meanwhile AMD cucks are still stuck at 4.2Ghz 2009 called by the way and wants their clock speeds back.
I’ll stick with my
-x299 Dark for 200$
-32GB 3200Mhz 350$
-9800X 8 core 16 threads
-1080Ti in sli that paid for itself.
Jow Forums told me crypto was a meme, but I got two free cards out of it and feels good man. Never listen to Jow Forumstards as they always will be poor, commies or just angry fat people who never see sunlight.
>inb4 no one cares
You read this so I win withhtout even caring if you read this or not. Have a goodnight Jow Forums and get better hardware
>inb4 stutter. Check frametime and stfu

Oh no...Oh Nonononono bros it's not fair!

>comparing muh niggahurtz between CPUs of different microarchitectures between two different manufacturers
Not how it works, but what do you expect from Inctel brainlets.

That's a long ass post for someone coping.

why doesn't TSMC just cut the middleman (AMD) and sell their own CPUs?

Patents

You can't just reverse engineer a processor just from examining the final masks shipped from the designer to contract manufacturer.

>162 fps
Is that a fps cap to maximise a 165 hz gsync monitor? Because thats what i use

>coping this hard

By the same token, you could ask why AMD doesn't cut out the middleman (TSMC) and manufacture their own CPUs. You know, like they did before they sold off their foundries.

Oh no no no
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>$8.96
LMAO what are you poor

The more you buy, the more you save!

Intel should just revert back to Sandy Bridge and do 32nm +++. That would be healthy.

>AMD will double core count again while Intel rererereretefreshes skylake again

Add 2-3 years to the dates on roadmap, like always.

So? What's your point? First Phenom was absolute garbage with bugs and low clocks, Phenom II was okay but only around C2D/C2Q levels at the time first gen i7 was already rolling.

>it doesn't matter AMD is slower in both clocks and ipc you inctel brainlet

Why do you think several big companies teamed up with amd? They want to take down shittel.

because being able to make small transistors != being able to ship a CPU as a product?

Where are you getting that Amd IPC is lower than Intlel? The only real limiting factor is clock speed

Man intel really really needs to get the stepping because an AMD processor with ~1GHz lower clocks is breathing down their fucking neck. I never realized how bad things are for intel. Either they release 6GHz chips with a free included industrial water chiller or they summon the devil and sell their souls in exchange for more IPC.

I mean look at this, it's absolute carnage for intel right now.

Yeah I’m sure TSMC is has a wonderful and robust software engineering team at scale.

I mean when you think about it they were practically FORCED to release the i9-9900K raging inferno. The i7-8700K is just getting absolutely slaughtered at 1440p and even at 1080p.

>Intel @5ghz & 2x the price.

>stops mentioning price when he reaches the Shintel CPU
How hard did they rip you off, user ? Don't worry we won't laugh.

Because TSMC doesn't design CPU's, they just make for the company that did.

It's like MAGNA building automotive parts for GM & Dodge & Ford back in the 90's. The car companies designed the pieces, MAGNA made them.

TSMC makes better production processes to compete against GloFo processes so they get the production contracts from the designers.

From looking around it sounds like were not gonna get a die shrink for desktop CPUs until 2020-2021 from intel

more like 2022

7700k delidlake @ 5.1 + NH-D15 owner here. I'm not buying another Intel CPU until it's 6GHz on all cores on air. Simple as that. If it takes 10 years so be it.

2023 for volume production
